5 Days to Go for JEE Advanced 2024; Important Chapters to Revise in Last Week
JEE Advanced 2024 exam will be held on May 26. IIT Madras issued the admit card to the registered candidates on May 17. The candidates must check all instructions given on the admit card and appear for the exam accordingly.
The JEE Advanced 2024 exam is scheduled for May 26. Paper 1 will be held from 9 am to 12 pm and paper 2 from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Candidates who will be appealing for the exam must revise some do-or-die chapters in this past week. The subject-wise important chapter to revise before the exam is mentioned here.
JEE Advanced 2024 admit card is available at jeeadv.ac.in. Candidates must present their printed JEE Advanced 2024 admit card and a valid government-issued ID at the entry gates to access the exam centre. Entry will not be permitted without these documents. Acceptable forms of ID include Aadhaar Card, School/College/Institute ID, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport, PAN Card, and Notarized Certificate with a photograph.
In the last week before the exam, candidates must review key concepts and formulas and solve practice problems from each topic. Take a mock test to assess strengths and weaknesses. Focus on weak areas, and solve additional problems, and finally review, solve more mock tests to stay confident.
Maths
To excel in Mathematics, focus on Continuity and Differentiation, Definite Integration, Circle Geometry, Probability, and Differential Equations. Practice numerous mock tests, timing yourself to enhance speed and accuracy. Regularly revisit year-long notes to reinforce essential formulas.
Physics
With limited time left, prioritise high-weightage chapters for JEE Advanced physics like Work, Power, Energy, Current Electricity, Laws of Thermodynamics, Electromagnetic Induction, Alternating Current, Magnetic Effects of Current, and Electrostatics for optimal preparation.
Chemistry
For Chemistry, focus on crucial topics like Chemical Bonding and Molecular Structure, General Organic Chemistry, Electrochemistry, Carbonyl Compounds (Aldehydes and Ketones), and Atomic Structure, as they are frequently tested in exams.
