Dual Language Option at IIT Jodhpur: BTech Courses Offered in Hindi and English via JEE Advanced 2024

The Ministry of Education has announced that IIT Jodhpur will now also offer BTech courses in Hindi alongside its current English-medium instruction.

Starting this academic year, IIT Jodhpur will offer BTech courses in Hindi alongside English. The Ministry of Education has endorsed this initiative, ensuring students can learn in their preferred language. Before the session begins, IIT Jodhpur will organise classes in two sections based on language preference. The Ministry of Education shared the information via X stating:

The Ministry of Education is pleased to share that @iitjodhpur will now offer B. Tech 1st year courses in both Hindi and English, beginning this academic year! This initiative is designed to ensure all students can learn effectively in the language they are most comfortable with. Both sections will be taught by the same instructor, maintaining consistency and quality. This is a significant step towards fostering a more inclusive and supportive educational environment at IIT Jodhpur.

 

Admissions for the academic session 2024-25 are currently underway through JEE Advanced 2024 ranks, with seat allocation managed via JoSAA 2024 counselling. The results for round 4 of JoSAA 2024 counselling will be announced tomorrow, July 10. JEE Advanced 2024 was held on May 26 and the results were declared on June 9. The candidates who have been issued a rank in JEE Advanced are now being allotted seats across the 23 IITs based on the choice of the candidates and their ranks in JEE Advanced 2024.
