IIT Bombay maintains top spot in QS Asia Universities Rankings 2023

QS Asia University Rankings 2023: A total of 19 Indian universities were featured in QS Asia Universities Rankings 2023.  

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay remained at the top position by securing the 40th spot in the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) Asia University Rankings 2023. It is followed by IIT Delhi which stood at 46th place and Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore at 52. IIT Madras stood at the 53rd position, followed by IIT Kharagpur at the 61st position and IIT Kanpur at the 66th rank. IIT Roorkee secured the 114th rank followed by IIT Guwahati at 124 and Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) Vellore at 173.  

A total of 19 Indian universities have made it to the top 200 varsities in the QS Asia Universities Rankings 2023. It is an annual publication of university rankings approved by the International Ranking Expert Group (IREG).

Chandigarh University in Gharuan bagged the 185th rank in Asia, 14th rank in India in the QS Asia University Rankings 2023. All the Indian universities which have featured in the top 200 list have improved in their academic reputation and the international research network.
