NIT Trichy has announced the Global Alumni Meet (GAM) 2025 on January 4. Organised by RECAL, the institute’s official alumni association, the event will bring together alumni worldwide to celebrate the legacy of REC/NIT Trichy.
Dr. G. Aghila, Director of the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli (NIT Trichy), has announced that the anticipated Global Alumni Meet (GAM) 2025 will take place on January 4, 2025. Organised by RECAL, the institute's official alumni association, this landmark event will bring together NIT Trichy's global alumni network to celebrate the institution's illustrious legacy. With an alumni community of over 48,000 members, including 930+ CEOs and 1,300+ founders, NIT Trichy continues to be a beacon of talent and innovation. GAM 2025 will feature an impressive lineup of distinguished alumni:

With an estimated investment of INR 150 crore, the hub is poised to become a catalyst for innovation, driving growth and opportunities in Tier-II cities.

As per the NIT Trichy ranking 2023, the institute is ranked number nine under the “Engineering” category. Additionally, the institute offers MTech course across popular specialisations such as Chemical Engineering, CSE, Data Analytics, Thermal Power Engineering, etc. The placement percentage for PG courses in 2022 was 92.9%.
