CUH signs MoU with five central universities, IIT Ropar for NEP 2020 implementation

Under this MoU, educational institutions will jointly contribute in research, innovation, teaching, learning and development of resources

For the implementation of the new National Education Policy-2020, Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendragarh will work together with IIT Ropar; Central University of Punjab, Central University of Himachal Pradesh, Central University of Rajasthan and Central University of Jammu.

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between five central universities including CUH and IIT, Ropar in the presence of Union Minister for Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Dharmendra Pradhan and Minister of State for Education, Subhash Sarkar at the Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Samagam.

The Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar said that the process of implementation of National Education Policy-2020 in the northern region will gain momentum. He said that under this MoU, educational institutions will jointly contribute in research, innovation, teaching, learning and development of resources.

Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar told that under this MoU, they will work together at the level of Joint Degree Program, Academic Bank of Credit as well as Student Exchange Program etc.

The Vice Chancellor said that this effort is a commendable initiative and will definitely pave the way for achieving the goals of the National Education Policy. On this occasion, the Vice-Chancellor, referring to the resolve given by the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in the Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Samagam to build India of the future with the tradition of Indian knowledge, said that with the collective efforts of educational institutions, it is necessary to make India a developed nation. The way will be paved.

The Vice-Chancellor also said that the Education Minister termed this effort important at the University level and that in today's time such partnership is necessary for maximum utilization of resources and these institutions will definitely contribute in the successful implementation of the new education policy.
