A delegation of AADTA led by its National Incharge Dr Aditya Narayan Misra brought out the consequences of shifting from grant-based to loan-based funding to central universities like DU.
The Memorandum submitted by the delegation raised the issue of the teaching and non-teaching employees facing the problem of regular salary, pension, timely reimbursement of medical bills, & clearance of LTC/HTC bills. This brings financial hardships for the teaching fraternity and the employees. The required funds for the infrastructural development of the colleges should be disbursed without any further delay.
Dy CM shared the concerns raised by the delegation. He has directed to release the Revised Estimates (RE) amount of the colleges immediately. He has also directed to expedite the regularisation of the funding in time bound manner so that various expenses and bills of the teachers and employees are fully met.
Praising the effort of AADTA over the issue of 12 college salaries, Maharaja Agrasen College Non-Teaching Staff Association stated that it is also wrong to see the solution to every serious problem politically.
