Mahindra University Students Bags Top Positions in Global Innovation Challenge

A total of 2,414 students from 25 schools across 20 countries participated in the Babson Collaborative Global Student Challenge 2024. Out of which, the second and third position was secured by Mahindra University students. 

Mahindra University students secured second and third positions in the Global Innovation Challenge, a highly competitive U.S. University competition. The teams "Harvested Robotics" and "Extrive Innovations" secured second and third positions in the Babson Collaborative Global Student Challenge 2024, respectively. 

Babson College hosted the global innovation challenge. The competition focused on innovative business concepts addressing the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This year, 2,414 students from 25 schools across 20 countries participated in this prestigious competition. 

Second Position Secured by Harvested Robotics

The "Harvested Robotics" team secured the second position, which included five students, Rahul Arepaka, Pranav Mogli, Sai Phani, Sanjay Pramod, and Atin Sakeer. Their project aspires to revolutionise the agriculture sector by equipping farmers with a chemical-free weed management solution with the help of advanced lasers and robotics technology.

Third Position Secured by Extrive Innovations

Extrive Innovations team secured the third position with four members namely Abhishek Pratap, Ronak Oinam, Prem Ningombam, and Yashaswi Matla. This team invented an ergonomic, cost-effective exoskeleton designed to enrich workplace protection and effectiveness while enhancing worker solace and productivity.

 The team's focus on entrepreneurship and invention is forming new standards in education, equipping students to be heads and difference-makers in their fields by offering a conducive workplace for potential entrepreneurs to make a change.
