The four-day event promises to be a major highlight in the business school calendar, drawing industry professionals, academia experts, and over 8,000 B-school students to engage in a series of exciting events, workshops, and conclaves.
Upskilling Management Students for Future Careers
The key theme of AVARTAN 2024 revolves around equipping management students with the skills and knowledge required to thrive in the future business landscape. With over 250 corporate participants and 25+ CXOs, the event will offer a platform for attendees to learn about the latest industry trends, strategies for career development, and the necessary skills to meet the demands of the evolving corporate world. IIM Mumbai's statement emphasizes that this year's festival aligns with the institution's vision of fostering knowledge-driven productivity and preparing students for the challenges of the modern business environment.
Specialized Workshops: Navigating Corporate Complexities
In addition to the business competitions and panel discussions, AVARTAN 2024 will feature several specialized workshops designed to empower students with industry-relevant insights. AVARTAN 2024 will also feature a series of national-level competitions that test the analytical and strategic capabilities of participants. Earlier, there was no IIM in Mumbai. But now NITIE Mumbai has been renamed to IIM Mumbai. The institute has been ranked 7 under ‘Management’ category by the NIRF in 2023. NITIE has always been at par with IIMs when it comes to Management category rankings. As per the report by Hindustan Times "As per the gazette published by the Ministry of Law and Justice, NITIE will continue to function until a new board is constituted for IIM under this act. After the constitution of a new board under this act, the old board will dissolve."
