IIM Kozhikode launches Certificate Program in Product Management

This collaborative initiative aims to equip learners with industry-relevant skills essential for excelling in the dynamic domain of product management, including practical training on generative artificial intelligence (AI) tools.

In response to the escalating demand for proficient product managers in the industry, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kozhikode has forged a strategic partnership with Emeritus to introduce a  professional certificate program in product management. This collaborative initiative aims to equip learners with industry-relevant skills essential for excelling in the dynamic domain of product management, including practical training on generative artificial intelligence (AI) tools.

Program Commencement and Objectives

Scheduled to commence on June 26, the program offers a comprehensive pathway for aspiring product managers to cultivate a product-oriented mindset, refine strategic thinking, and hone market analysis skills. Participants can expect to delve into a curriculum meticulously designed to enhance their competencies in product development, strategy formulation, and analytics. Upon successful completion of the program and attaining a minimum grade of 70%, participants will be awarded a certificate from IIM Kozhikode, augmenting their professional credentials and unlocking new career prospects in the realm of product management.

Eligibility and Course Structure

Tailored to cater to a diverse audience comprising entry-level managers, entrepreneurs, and mid to senior-level managers seeking to bolster their prowess in product development, strategy formulation, and analytics, the program spans a duration of 39 weeks. The curriculum encompasses pre-recorded sessions led by esteemed IIM faculty members and industry experts, immersive real-world case studies, and specialized modules on generative AI, among other essential components. Eligible candidates include graduates and diploma holders from recognized universities who are eager to embark on a transformative learning journey in the field of product management.
