QS Executive MBA Ranking 2024: Global education analyst Quacquarelli Symonds has released the QS Executive MBA Ranking 2024, with the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore securing the title of the best business school in India. With a global rank of 41, IIM Bangalore has improved its position by two spots from the previous year.
ISB and Other Indian Management Institutions
Following IIM Bangalore, the Indian School of Business (ISB) ranks second, though it has dropped from last year’s position of 100 to the range of ‘101-110’. IIM Kozhikode and the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad occupy the third and fourth spots, both within the ‘171-180’ rank range. Rounding out the top six are IIM Indore and Woxsen School of Business, which are placed in the ‘181+’ range.

QS President and Chair Nunzio Quacquarelli expressed enthusiasm about IIM Bangalore's recognition, highlighting it as home to India’s premier Executive MBA program. He noted that this achievement reflects India’s growing significance in executive business education, with its representation in the rankings doubling year-on-year.

Quacquarelli emphasized that as globalization continues to expand, understanding diverse perspectives and cultures is crucial in the business world. Executive MBA programs are essential for fostering global professional networks, with top programs focusing on international diversity, career outcomes, and high-quality admissions.
Global Ranking Highlights
In the global rankings, Oxford (Said) Business School has risen to the top spot, climbing from third place. Last year’s leader, HEC Paris, has dropped to third. IESE Business School and MIT (Sloan) remain in second and fourth places, respectively, while London Business School has entered the top five, moving up from seventh. Notably, Penn (Wharton) has fallen from fifth to sixth, and IE Business School has dropped from sixth to tenth this year. Northwestern (Kellogg) and Yale School of Management have made significant gains, rising to seventh and eighth positions, while INSEAD has slipped from eighth to ninth.
