MDI Gurgaon Final Placements 2021 concluded with an overall average salary of Rs 23.15 lakh

MDI Gurgaon students received the highest number of offers from Multinational companies including Deloitte USI (19), PwC US Advisory (19), Cognizant (17), ICICI Bank (15) and PwC India.

MDI Gurgaon Placements 2021: Management Development Institute (MDI) Gurgaon concluded its final placement drive for the Class of 2021 with an overall average salary of Rs 23.15 lakh. This year, MDI Gurgaon witnessed an increase of nearly 5% in the overall average salary which was Rs 22.05 lakh last year. Meanwhile, the institute recorded a median salary of Rs 23 lakh last year. According to the institute,  Amazon offered the top salary package offered during MDI Gurgaon Final Placement 2021 of Rs 44 lakh. The highest salary saw an 8.6 per cent jump from last year’s Rs 40.5 lakh.

MDI Gurgaon students received the highest number of offers from Multinational companies including Deloitte USI (19), PwC US Advisory (19), Cognizant (17), ICICI Bank (15) and PwC India. Official data released by MDI Gurgaon states that around 128 companies participated in the final placement process, as compared to 126 companies last year. These included half the new recruiters including Airbnb, BMW Group India, DE Shaw, Google, Johnson and Johnson, Reckitt Benckiser, The Chesapeake Group, Thoucentric and ZS Associates.

Technology, Telecommunication & Media and FMCD/FMCG sectors saw the highest number of new recruiters this year.

Talking about the overwhelming response, Kanwal Kapil, dean-placements, alumni & continuing education, MDI Gurgaon, said “In the Covid scenario, we were expecting many recruiters to cut down on hiring numbers. Based on that assumption, we made a conscious effort to reach out to new and diverse recruiters, particularly those from sectors such as consulting and technology, and telecommunication that are doing well in the current scenario.”
