The MSc Nursing 2025 entrance exam is conducted to facilitate admission to the Postgraduate level (MSc) programme in Nursing. Hence the syllabus of the AIIMS MSc Nursing entrance exam is purely based on the topics and subjects taught during the undergraduate level course i.e. BSc Nursing.

Applicants are advised to complete their AIIMS MSc Nursing syllabus 2025 in time to increase the probability of qualifying for the exam. Along with the syllabus, candidates must know the AIIMS MSc Nursing exam pattern which will help them to better understand the question trends and according they can make their strategy. The exam conducting authority mentions in the official notification that no syllabus is prescribed for AIIMS MSc Nursing exam by the authority, however, candidates are advised to follow the class 12 syllabus to prepare for the exam. The AIIMS MSc nursing exam will be conducted in English language only. The AIIMS MSc Nursing exam will be conducted on June 14, 2025.

Q:   How many questions will be AIIMS MSc Nursing exam?

A:

The AIIMS MSc Nursing exam will be conducted in Computer Bases Test (CBT) mode only. The exam will be conducted in Delhi only. 

There will be a total of 90 questions and each question carries one mark hence the exam will be of 90 marks. 1/3 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.  More than one answer will be negatively marked.

The nature of the questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). The language of the question paper will be in English only.

Applicants who will appear in the exam should note that the result of AIIMS MSc Nursing exam will be released on June 21, 2025 in online mode.

Q:   Is there negative marking in AIIMS MSc Nursing exam?

A:

Yes, the negative marking scheme is applicable in AIIMS MSc Nursing exam. Applicants who will appear in the exam must be cautious while answering and attempting the questions.

For each questions one third mark will be deducted for each wrong answer and 1 mark will be awarded for each correct answer. 

No penality or reward for un attempted questions in AIIMS MSc Nursing exam.

AIIMS MSc Nursing Exam Pattern 2025

Applicants who want to appear in the AIIMS MSc Nursing entrance exam must know the exam pattern and syllabus. It will help them to plan their strategy to qualify for the exam. It is advised that students also need practice from the previous year question papers of the AIIMS MSc Nursing exam. 

The exam pattern of AIIMS MSc Nursing includes a marking scheme of correct, incorrect, and not attempted questions. For each correct answer 1 mark will be awarded and for each incorrect one third mark will be deducted. No deduction or addition for unattempted questions. 

AIIMS MSc Nursing Percentile Score 

The percentile scores of the AIIMS MSc Nursing exam are scores based on the relative performance of all those who appear for the examination. The marks obtained by candidates are transformed into a scale ranging from 100 to 0 for each group of examinees. The percentile score indicates the percentage of candidates that have scored equal to or below that particular percentile in that examination.
The highest score is converted to a Percentile Score of 100. The marks obtained in between the highest and lowest scores are also converted to appropriate Percentiles.
Further to this, the percentile scores would be converted to 3 decimal places to avoid bunching effect and therefore reduce ties.

No, one cannot take admission to any other university or institution by clearing the AIIMS Nursing 2025 exam for the MSc programme as no other institute or university accepts AIIMS nursing 2025 scores.
