AIIMS MSc Nursing exam dates have been announced. The AIIMS MSc nursing 2025 exam is scheduled to be held on June 14, 2025. The result notification will be released on June 21, 2025. AIIMS Delhi released the dates for the MSc course on the official website at aiimsexams.ac.in. The AIIMS MSc Nursing 2025 application process is expected to begin in the first week of March 2025. Candidates will have to register for the AIIMS MSc nursing entrance via PAAR registration system.

The AIIMS MSc nursing exam is conducted for admission to the MSc nursing programme offered by 17 AIIMS campuses across several states in India.   • BSc (Hons.)   • Registration as a Nurse, RN (Registered Nurse), or RM (Registered Midwife) with any State Nursing Council

AIIMS MSc Nursing 2025 Admission Process

The admissions to AIIMS Nursing for the MSc programmes involve a set of procedures. From registration to release of the admit cards, to appear for the national level entrance exam, and attending the counselling rounds post the declaration of the result. Below is a brief description of the admission process mentioned:

Step 1: AIIMS Nursing Registration 2025 for MSc

The first step of the process is registration. The AIIMS Nursing 2025 for the MSc admission involves a two-step registration/application process:

  • Basic Registration
  • Final Registration

In basic registration, personal details such as the name, date of birth, email ID, mobile number, and scanned passport-size photo and image of the signature and thumb impression are required. After submitting this information the candidates will be eligible for the Final registration process in which the candidates have to generate a code and pay the application fee using the registration ID received post-completion of the Basic registration.

Step 2: Download AIIMS Nursing 2025 Admit Card for MSc

To appear and attempt the AIIMS MSc Nursing 2025 entrance exam for the MSc programme, the candidates have to download the admit card in hard copy format. It is mandatory to show the AIIMS MSc Nursing admit card at the centre on the day of the examination to access entry into the examination hall. The AIIMS MSc Nursing hall ticket can be downloaded online from the official website of the AIIMS. AIIMS Nursing 2025 admit card for the MSc programme will be released on the official site of AIIMS. 

Step 3: Appear for AIIMS Nursing entrance exam for MSc 

AIIMS will conduct the national-level entrance exam on June 14, 2025. Candidates will have to appear for the AIIMS Nursing exam for MSc in order to seek admission into the MSc Nursing programme offered by the AIIMS institutes across India.

Step 4: Check AIIMS Nursing 2025 Result for MSc

AIIMS Nursing 2025 results for the MSc programme will be declared on the official website of the AIIMS via online mode. The result notification will come on June 21, 2025. Individual result would be accessible after logging into the official accounts using the credentials. Candidates are advised to take a printout of the same as it will be required during the counselling and other processes.

Step 5: Appear for AIIMS Nursing 2025 Counselling for MSc

Candidates whose names get shortlisted in the merit list will be invited for counselling and the seat allocation process via online mode. On the basis of the percentile, rank, and score the candidates will be granted admission to their respective choice of AIIMS institute.

Step 6: Fee and document submission to confirm admission

After the successful allotment of the seats and the institute, candidates have to submit the pre-decided fees (admission and tuition fee) along with the pre-requisite documents and undertakings. The candidates will be provided with the dates to attend the classes after completing the formalities.

The AIIMS Nursing M.Sc basic and final registration were started on March 5 and 12, 2024 respectively in online mode.  

The last date for AIIMS Nursing MSc final registration and code generation is April 30, 2024 in online mode. Though applicants can submit their documents till May 14, 2024

AIIMS MSc Nursing 2025 Application Process

AIIMS MSc Nursing 2025 registration will begin tentatively in the first week of March 2025 and will continue till April 2025. After the registration process, candidates whose registration requests will be accepted will be eligible for the Final Registration process (fee payment and choice of the city). Notably, only those candidates who will be able to generate a code for final registration will be able to complete the fee payment and choose a city as the preferred exam centre. AIIMS Nursing 2025 application form-filling process for the MSc programme is divided into two stages, that use the Prospective Applicants Advanced Registration (PAAR) system, launched by AIIMS.

Both stages are equally important and candidates should not miss out on any of the two stages. The two stages are:

  • Stage 1: Basic Registration
  • Stage 2: Final Registration

Stage 1: Basic Registration

The first stage is the Basic Registration stage in which the candidates would be required to furnish their personal details such as name, date of birth, email id (for communication purpose), mobile number (to send information and code via SMS), and then the scanned passport-size photo and scanned image of the signature and thumb impression. After providing the details post the submission, the candidates will receive a registration ID and a password to conclude the Basic Registration process. Candidates are advised to keep the registration ID and password safe for future use. The basic registration deadline will be the last week of April 2025.

Stage 2: Final Registration

After the successful submission and acceptance of the Basic Registration form, candidates will be able to generate a code and pay the application fee. Candidates won’t be able to proceed with the final registration process without generating the code. In the final registration stage, the candidates have to provide their academic details and submit the choice of the city as the exam centre. AIIMS Nursing 2024 (MSc Nursing) application fee can be paid via online mode using a Debit/Credit card or Net banking. The final registration deadline as well code generation deadline will be mentioned in the event schedule. 

The status of the application for MSc Nursing can be checked online. The last date for submission of required documents will also be released.

Candidates are required to keep the following documents and information ready while filling out the AIIMS Nursing 2025 Application Form:

  • A valid mobile number
  • A valid e-mail ID
  • A valid credit/debit card and net banking details
  • Passport-size photograph.

  • Category certificate (For SC/ST/PwD category)

Applicants should have cleared BSc Nursing/Post Basic Nursing from a recognised Institution accredited by Indian Nursing Council (INC) and AIIMS. Applicants must have scored at least 55 per cent in aggregate. The applicants should possess a minimum of one year of work experience as on the last date of application form submission with specialisation in bedside nursing in a hospital having a minimum of 100 bedded hospital (for private hospitals only) or Public Health Nursing or in Nursing Educational Institutions recognised by Indian Nursing Council (INC). The applicant must be a registered nurse and registered midwife (RNRM).

AIIMS nursing 2025 MSc exam involves a two-stage selection process. The two stages are:

  • Stage 1: Written examination
  • Stage 2: Personal Interview/Assessment

The description of the two stages is mentioned below. Candidates can check what they can expect out of the two stages:

Stage 1: Written examination

The first stage will be a written exam. The examination authority will invite candidates who will qualify for the written exam for the Personal Interview/Assessment scheme. The written exam will be a 90-minute computer-based test. The question paper will be set in the English language only.

Stage 2: Personal Interview/Assessment Scheme

Candidates who will be able to make it to the merit list based on the written exam are called for the personal interview/assessment round. The second stage will have a weightage of 30 marks. The final merit list will decide the fate of the candidate based on their performance in both stages. Almost three times more candidates will be invited for the interview than the actual number of available seats. The assessment process takes into consideration the following criteria:

  • The past academic record of Graduation (BSc) level exam
  • Performance as a Staff Nurse

Applicants who successfully filled the application form will be issued AIIMS MSc Nursing admit card 2025.
