AIIMS MSc Nursing online seat allotment was started. AIIMS, Delhi announced the MSc Nursing round 2 seat allotment results on the official website at aiimsexams.ac.in on July 30, 2024. The AIIMS MSc Nursing 2024 seat allotment result comprises student's names who are allotted seats during the round 2 counselling including their roll number, overall rank, category, allotted institute, subject, speciality and seat category.

 According to the official brochure, only eligible applicants were able to exercise their choice the AIIMS MSc Nursing counselling. It could be done between July 12 to July 16, 2024.

The announcement of seat allocation for the first round was out on July 20, 2024. The counselling process for the AIIMS MSc Nursing exam is being conducted in online mode.

Earlier AIIMS, Delhi released the AIIMS MSc Nursing result online on July 1, 2024. AIIMS MSc Nursing exam was conducted online on June 22, 2024, at the designated test centres in Delhi only.

 AIIMS Delhi is responsible for administering the entrance exam for admission to the MSc Nursing programme from registration to counselling and seat allocation.

AIIMS MSc Nursing 2024 Eligibility Criteria

AIIMS, New Delhi, examination section has defined particular eligibility criteria for the candidates who wish to appear for AIIMS Nursing 2024 to pursue the MSc programme. AIIMS Nursing 2024 eligibility criteria for the programme at the postgraduate level are mentioned below.

  • BSc (Hons.)   • All applicants who have applied earlier and whose Basic Registration has been accepted for the 2024 session are also eligible for the Generation of code for Final Registration, and they are not required to complete the Basic Registration again

The admissions to AIIMS Nursing for the MSc programmes involve a set of procedures. From registration to release of the admit cards, to appear for the national level entrance exam, and attending the counselling rounds post the declaration of the result. Below is a brief description of the admission process mentioned:

Step 1: AIIMS Nursing Registration 2024 for MSc

The first step of the process is registration. The AIIMS Nursing 2024 for the MSc admission involves a two-step registration/application process:

  • Basic Registration
  • Final Registration

In basic registration, personal details such as the name, date of birth, email id, mobile number and the scanned passport-size photo and scanned image of the signature and thumb impression are required. After submitting this information the candidates will be eligible for the Final registration process in which the candidates have to generate a code and pay the application fee using the registration ID received post the completion of the Basic registration.

Step 2: Download AIIMS Nursing 2024 Admit Card for MSc

To appear and attempt the AIIMS Nursing 2024 entrance exam for the MSc programme, the candidates have to download the admit card which is required to be produced in hard copy at the centre on the day of examination to access the entry into the examination hall. AIIMS MSc Nursing Admit Card 2024

Applicants who successfully filled the application form will be issued the admit card of AIIMS MSc Nursing 2024. To access the hall ticket of AIIMS MSc Nursing 2024 students are advised to enter their login credentials followed by entering the captcha code.

AIIMS MSc Nursing 2024 Registration

AIIMS MSc Nursing 2024 registration started on March 5, 2024, and will continue last till April 30, 2024. After the registration process, candidates whose registration request was accepted were eligible for the Final Registration process (fee payment and choice of the city). Notably, only candidates who have generated a code for final registration were able to complete the fee payment and choose a city as the preferred exam centre. AIIMS Nursing 2024 application form-filling process for the MSc programme is divided into two stages, that use the Prospective Applicants Advanced Registration (PAAR) system, launched by AIIMS.

Both stages are equally important and candidates should not miss out on any of the two stages. The two stages are:

  • Stage 1: Basic Registration
  • Stage 2: Final Registration

 Stage 1: Basic Registration

The first stage is the Basic Registration stage in which the candidates are required to furnish their personal details such as name, date of birth, email id (for communication purpose), mobile number (to send information and code via SMS), and then the scanned passport-size photo and scanned image of the signature and thumb impression. After providing the details post the submission, the candidates will receive a registration ID and a password to conclude the Basic Registration process. Candidates are advised to keep the registration ID and password safe for future use. The basic registration deadline is April 26, 2024

Stage 2: Final Registration

After the successful submission and acceptance of the Basic Registration form, candidates will be able to generate a code and pay the application fee. Candidates won’t be able to proceed with the final registration process without generating the code. In the final registration stage, the candidates have to provide their academic details and submit the choice of the city as the exam centre. AIIMS Nursing 2024 (MSc Nursing) application fee can be paid via online mode using a Debit/Credit card or Net banking. The final registration deadline as well code generation is April 30, 2024

The status of application for M.Sc Nursing can be checked on May 9, 2024. While the last date for submission of required documents is May 14, 2024

AIIMS nursing 2024 MSc exam involves a two-stage selection process. The two stages are:

  • Stage 1: Written examination
  • Stage 2: Personal Interview/Assessment

The description of the two stages is mentioned below. Candidates can check what they can expect out of the two stages:

Stage 1: Written examination

The first stage will be a written exam. The examination authority will invite candidates who will qualify for the written exam for the Personal Interview/Assessment scheme. The written exam will be a 90-minute computer-based test. The question paper will be set in the English language only.

Stage 2: Personal Interview/Assessment Scheme

Candidates who will be able to make it to the merit list based on the written exam are called for the personal interview/assessment round. The second stage will have a weightage of 30 marks. The final merit list will decide the fate of the candidate based on their performance in both stages. Almost three times more candidates will be invited for the interview than the actual number of available seats. The assessment process takes into consideration the following criteria:

  • The past academic record of Graduation (BSc) level exam
  • Performance as a Staff Nurse

AIIMS MSc Nursing 2024 Result
