As per the news, the Delhi State Subordinate Services Recruitment Board (DSSSB) will fill 20,000 posts by March 2025. The recruitment aims to fill vacancies in various departments of the Delhi government. These include PGT, TGT, Assistant Teacher, Primary Counsellor, LDC Clerk, Patwari, etc. The recruitment is expected to begin by December 2024. The DSSSB conducted the TGT (Punjabi) and TGT (Urdu) for male/female exam for the post codes 810/24 and 809/24 on October 13, 2024. Earlier, it was supposed to be conducted on September 3, 2024. But due to administrative exigencies, it was cancelled. Timings for the TGT Punjabi exam was from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM (Shift 1) and for TGT (Urdu) from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM (Shift 2). 

DSSSB released the Notification for the post of Assistant Teacher (Nursery) on December 24, 2023. Candidates could fill out the DSSSB Application Form 2024 between January 9 to February 7, 2024. No, candidates having a degree in Bachelors of Education (BEd) cannot apply for the DSSSB PRT 2024 exam. A recent verdict by the Supreme Court declared that only holders of DEIEd certificates are eligible to become primary-grade teachers. Now, the candidates holding the BEd degree will not be allowed to appear for the primary teacher recruitment exam in Delhi Government Schools. Tentatively, PRT Vacancy 2024 will be released by DSSSB in the month of May-June 2024. Q:   How many DSSSB vacancies 2024 are announced?

A:

DSSSB will fill around 20,000 government posts in several departments by March 2025. Candidates will be able to apply for multiple posts through DSSSB's official website. The DSSSB 2024 notification will seek recruitment of 20000 vacancies for various posts including  Assistant Teacher (Nursery), PGT, TGT (Computer Science), Primary counsellor, etc.
