CUET PG Syllabus 2025 has been released by the exam officials and uploaded on the CUET PG official website. Every year the exam officials releases the detailed CUET PG Syllabus subject wise for the candidates appearing for the masters degree programmes. The syllabus will help the candidates in shortlisting the topics of the course to which they applied and make their CUET PG 2025 preparation accordingly. 

CUET PG Exam pattern 2025 has been revised, and now candidates will get 90 minutes to solve 75 question MCQ questions asked in the CUET PG exam 2025 instead of 105 minutes. The General paper syllabus of LLB and MBA courses will also be redesigned to cater to skill-based.

Q:   Who sets the CUET PG syllabus?

Common University Entrance Test (CUET) will be introduced for admission into UG/ PG programmes in Central and participating Universities for academic session 2025-26. The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) will

The CUET PG 2025 examination will be conducted by the examination authority i.e., NTA (National Testing Agency) in the various CUET PG examination centres across the nation and also to short listed foreign countries. The CUET PG exam difficulty level is depicted in the range of moderate to high. CUET PG examination is conducted into various streams and master's subjects, therefore it is difficult to say the difficulty level of the examination subject wise. However, the difficulty level of the exam varies from subject to subject. 

The difficulty level of the exam also differs from subject to subject. As compared to the other national level entrance exam like IIT JAM, ISI Admission Test, GATE-B, IISER Entrance exam, JEST, NEST examination, the level of CUET PG examination is comparatively low-level. Candidates can expect the high difficulty level of the examination in comparison to State level entrance examinations like- GNDU, UPCATET, SHIATS, MCAER-CET, RUASAT, OUAT.

Q:   How many subjects can be opted in CUET PG while filling the application form?

CUET PG 2025 examination is expected to be scheduled in the month of April, 2025. Aspirants preparing for the CUET PG exam will be able to fill the online application form in the month January 2025. While filling up the CUET PG online application form, test taker can select only one subject in one slot of the examination day. However, from the previous year academic year, they were able to choose a maximum of 20 test paper codes in all.

Q:   Is it compulsory to attempt all the sections of the CUET PG 2024 question paper?

A:

NTA, National Testing Agency is the examination conducting body of CUET PG examination. The exam syllabus, structure of the examination is set by the NTA for the ongoing academic session. 

On the basis of previous year's trends it is highly expected that NTA will set the CUET PG 2024 structure in such a way that the examination will have 2 sections to be attempted by the candidates. The section I of the examintion will be General Aptitude specific and Section II will be subject domain specific which depends upon the subject choose by the candidates while filling up the CUET PG 2024 examination. There is no complusion in attempting any question asked in the examination. However, it is being advised not to attempt the questions for which candiates are not sure about their answer. One mark will be deducted for every wrong answer marked by the candidates.

  1. Science Stream- Here all the subjects related to Science domain have been included and the syllabus for the examination has been prepared accordingly. Some MSc subjects of Science stream domain are- MSc in Zoology, Botany, Mathematics, Chemistry, Food Science, Bio chemistry, Physics etc.

A:

NTA which is known as National Testing Agency is the examination conducting body of CUET PG examination. The Role of NTA is confined to registration of candidates, conduct of the test, hosting of answer key, inviting challenges, finalising Answer Keys, preparing and declaring result and hosting Score Card. Merit list will be prepared by participating Universities/ organisations. Universities may conduct their individual counselling on the basis of the score card of CUET (PG)-2023 provided by NTA.
