TS ICET 2025: Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) will release TGICET 2025 exam dates, also known as TS ICET 2025 exam dates, along with the Telangana CET calendar 2025. TG CET calendar will host the exam dates and conducting bodies of all the CET exams of Telangana, including TG EAPCET, TG LAWCET, TG PGCET, among others. TS ICET 2025 exam has been renamed to TGICET with the change of the state abbreviation. TG ICET 2025 exam dates will also be notified along with the exam notified expected to release in March, 2025.

TSICET 2025 will be held in an online mode at test centres located across the Telangana state. Candidates will find MCQ type questions in TS ICET 2025 exam based on three sections, namely Analytical Ability, Mathematical Ability, and Communication Ability. Candidates will have to answer a total of 200 questions within a duration of 120 minutes. Q:   What is the validity of TSICET scores?

Typically, TSICET scores are valid for a period not exceeding a year from the result announcement date. Candidates can apply for admissions as per TSICET scores via the centralised counselling process. For instance, if the candidate is aspiring for MBA Admission in 2024-25 batch, he/she must have appeared for TSICET 2024. However, several institutes may entertain admission via TSICET scores after the counselling window is closed. What is TSICET?

Telangana Integrated Common Entrance Test (TGICET), formerly known as TGICET, is a competitive exam for MBA and MCA admission in Universities/institutes situated in Telangana. Kakatiya University, Warangal, on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education, conducts the TSICET exam every year. Telangana Council of Higher Education has set the minimum qualifying marks at 25 per cent in TSICET for open category candidates. Candidates belonging to reserved categories do not have any qualifying cutoff score. Typically, the pass percentage in TGICET remains between 85 per cent to 93 per cent of all the test takers. Candidates who pass the TGICET exam are eligible for the counselling process administered online. TGCHE conducts a centralised counselling process for Telangana MBA admissions.

TGICET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the state-level MBA entrance exam, candidates need to fulfil the TGICET eligibility criteria. The space below mentions the eligibility conditions to appear for the exam:

TS ICET Results 2025

TS ICET 2025 results is to be announced online at the official website (icet.tsche.ac.in). While only 61,613 were able to qualify for the counselling process, with a pass percentage of 89.58 per cent. In the 2021 session, as many as 66,034 candidates applied for the exam. On the contrary, 58,392 applied for TSICET in the 2020 exam session.

TSICET 2025 Counselling

The Department of Technical Education, TGCHE, conducts TG ICET 2025 counselling online. Qualifying candidates will receive a call for TS ICET 2025 counselling as per their rank on the merit list. The counselling process includes document verification, option entry, seat allotment, payment of fees and self-reporting. Seat allotment to candidates is based on merit, category, gender, the local area and special reservation criteria. Candidates who will attend the first phase of TSICET 2025 counselling will also be eligible for the second round. Telangana Council of Higher Education has released the TSICET counselling dates 2024. All eligible candidates can apply for the counselling registration as per the official admission schedule. The results, along with the final answer key were released on June 14.

All TSICET test takers are not eligible to appear for the counselling process. The eligibility to appear for TS ICET counselling is as follows:

  • Unreserved category candidates securing marks greater than 25 per cent of the total score, i.e. 50 marks, are eligible to participate in the TSICET counselling.
  • Reserved category candidates are eligible for the counselling, irrespective of their TSICET scores.
