Assam Don Bosco University DPharma admissions are subject to the fulfilment of the preset eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria require applicants to have passed Class 12 from any recognised board with a minimum aggregate of 50% aggregate. To be eligible for BTech admission at ADBU, applicants must have passed Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry/Computer Science as one of the subjects. They must have obtained at least 50% in the above subjects taken together. For JEE Main, the minimum cut-off percentage is 96 percentile for the B.Tech computer Science and engineering. The cutoff percentile for B.Tech information technology is 93 percentile. MBA has a minimum cut-off requirement of around 96 percentile for the CAT. Some of the other programs like BCA, BBA, BA, and B.Sc, there are no entrance exams for these programs and admission is based on 12th marks only. 

The reservation policy of DBU follows the Indian government's reservation policy and seats are reserved for the Scheduled castes, Scheduled tribes, Other backward classes (OBCs), etc. DBU has an active campus life with a variety of clubs, committees, and student organizations on campus.
