I am absolutely satisfied with the university.
Placements: Around 70% of students get placed. Many IT companies and non-IT companies visit our university for placements. The training and placement cell is very supportive. The average salary package offered is also good. Tech Mahindra, ADP, and many other companies come to our university.
Infrastructure: There are excellent lab facilities on campus and air-conditioners are available in the computer lab. There are decent classrooms. There is a number of playgrounds including a basketball court and badminton court. Hostel rooms are also decent with good sanitation. The quality of food is also good. There is no ragging on campus.
Faculty: Our university has well-educated faculty members. Most of them are Ph.D. holders. The teaching quality is very good and relevant to the subject. Exams are quite difficult but if you have adequate knowledge, you can pass. The pass percentage is above 90% in all courses offered.
Other: We have two festivals celebrated on campus. One cultural event named Dverve and one technical event named Prajyuktam.

It is one of the best universities in Assam and NE India.
Placements: The placement opportunities in our university are pretty good. Many companies come to our university for placements. For our course, almost 60-70% of students got placements from the university. The average salary per month is around 20k to 35k. Overall, it's good.
Infrastructure: The campus is small. It is very clean and has a good and healthy environment. It has an anti-ragging cell, Wi-Fi facilities for the students are also available. I currently stay in the boys hostel the food could be a little bit better. We have smart classes, our laboratories are well-equipped and our classes are spacious and well ventilated.
Faculty: I'm currently studying B.Tech in electrical and electronics engineering. The teachers are well qualified and they are very kind and caring. Some Teachers are a little inconsiderate sometimes but that is how it usually is in most colleges. I feel like I will be ready to take on the world after graduation from this university.
Other: Even though I'm studying in Assam Don Bosco University, our campus is not as amazing and spacious as the campus in Tapesia gardens. We have a separate campus for our course along with some other course. But overall, I enjoy studying here I have met some of the most amazing friends and teachers here.

I am not satisfied nor dissatisfied, but faculty members are good.
Placements: Almost 20% of the students got placed from our batch. The highest salary package offered is 2 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 1 LPA and the average salary package offered is 1.5 LPA. Capgemini is the top recruiting company. The software engineer role is highly offered. Fewer students got the opportunity of getting an internship at our university.
Infrastructure: I didn't opt for the hostel as I was a locality. I heard from my friends that the accommodation is good, but the food quality was not that good. Wi-Fi is very good at our university. Medical, sports and other facilities and opportunities are in better condition.
Faculty: The course curriculum is good and always updated. Faculty members are also good. Problem with engineers nowadays is they lose interest in between and hence blame teachers for the same. After a few years, the course plan had been changing to bring variety in the course.
Other: Events, fests, campus, crowd, connectivity, etc., are very good and happening on the campus.

More practical knowledge through technical seminars should be provided
Placements: For our batch, 2016-2020 placement sessions were held in our 7th semester, due to lockdown, there was no recruitment in the 8th semester. Almost 40-50% of students got placed in top IT companies such as Wipro Ltd, TCS, Cognizant, Capgemini, Zaloni, Chegg India, etc. The highest package offered was 4 LPA, the average package offered was 2.6 LPA and the lowest salary offered was 1.8 LPA. The top roles offered in our course were of Project Engineer, System Analyst Trainee, programme Analyst Trainee, Engineer Trainee, etc.
Infrastructure: In college, Wi-Fi support is not so good though the LAN connections provided in the labs are extremely very good. There are two canteens which provide tasty and quality food. There are also two stores inside the campus for purchasing books and stationaries and even the uniforms. The college campus has got no grounds for outdoor sports. The campus consists of Air Conditioned Computer Labs and also Air Conditioned Library which consists of many useful books, journals, etc. The campus also consists of an infirmary for providing medical support for the students. In Hostel, Wi-Fi support is the worst. Only a few rooms can use the Wi-Fi properly. The Hostel campus includes three blocks, for faculty members and the remaining two for students. It also includes three badminton courts, one basketball court, and common T. V. room which also has the facility for Indoor games such as Table- Tennis and Carrom. The food quality for the hostel needs to be improved, it's not so good.
Faculty: The teaching staff are very good and helpful. All faculty members are highly qualified and knowledgeable. The Course curriculum is relevant but some new subjects should be included and more practical knowledge and technical seminars should be conducted for self- development of the students.

It's an awesome college for studies and to gain knowledge, but at the same time, it can be improved.
Placements: Around 60% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary offered was Rs. 30,000 per month, while the lowest salary offered was Rs. 14,000 per month and the average salary offered was Rs. 22,000 per month. Wipro and Zaloni are the top recruiting companies for our course. A software engineer is a top role offered in our course. The highest salary package offered in our course is 3.6 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 2.65 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.71 LPA. About 60% of the students got an internship in companies like Zaloni.
Infrastructure: Our classrooms are well-equipped with Wi-Fi facility, projector and also power backups. Our college provides a library, sickroom and labs for different courses, and they are well-equipped. The quality of the college hostel is good for students to study and to live in, but the quality of the food served in the mess is average. There are two canteens, which provide good and hygienic food within the college premises. Sports and games are really good. There are badminton court, volleyball court, basketball court, etc., and also indoor games.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are really helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They are very much supporting at the time of managing things. The quality of teaching is really good and satisfactory. The course curriculum is relevant, but it does not make the students industry-ready. Students need to get trained and do internships additionally.
Other: I have chosen this course to learn the technicality and working of the core software and hardware of a particular device like computers and operating systems. I wish that our college should improve infrastructure and course study management. Our college organises many events, one technical fest and one cultural fest. The campus crowd is good, and it is well connected with the outer practicality. Our college provides scholarships on the basis of the merit and economic background. Many extracurricular activities like workshops, blood donation camps, competitions, etc., are also conducted at our college.

Placements: Almost 45% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 3.86 LAP. The lowest salary package offered is 1.44 LPA. The average salary package offered is 2.22 LPA. TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, Jackson Engineering, Garuda Power, etc., are the top recruiting companies. Graduate engineering, trainees, etc., are the top roles offered to students. Students must undergo internships or summer training. Hence 100% of students undergo internship or summer training. There are various types of companies ranging from a government organisation, PSUs, Private companies. Government organisation include Electricity Boards in Generation, Grid Management, Distribution, etc., and it is spread across the various state, and mostly Assam and Meghalaya. PSUs include NEEPCO, NTPC, LTPS, Oil sector and other. Private organisations include Hitachi, TK Engineering and others.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi speed of 1024 Mbps leased line from BSNL, NKN and Jio. There are 4 classrooms equipped with projectors and Wi-Fi. There are 6 Laboratories, a departmental library, a government of India funded ICT enable lecture hall. There are 63 computers with Scilab, Matlab and LabVIEW. The hostel has three buildings with 3-storey and accommodates 300 students. The hostel has triple sharing, double sharing, singles rooms without attach bathroom, a single room is attached with bathroom. The food committee maintains the quality of the food. Wi-Fi facility is available for everyone. The hostel has a basketball court, a volleyball court, three badminton courts, a gym, TV hall, dinning Hall.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful and friendly. They are ready to help at any time through call, WhatsApp or we can meet them. They are qualified for the course and possess knowledge about the course. Their teaching quality is good, and they use projectors to make the students more understand. This course curriculum relevant. Students are industry-ready since all students must go for industrial training.
Other: I choose this course because I am interested in the electrical appliance and technology since my childhood. The best thing about this course is to get to all the basic electrical up to advance control engineering. I want to improve in my course is that the teacher to teach the students in the simplest form which will make the student more clear, especially at the beginning of the semester. Fests like D'VERVE and Prajukktam are organised in our college. There are extracurricular clubs here. ADBU scholarship is provided to students. The university is awarded as the university of the year at 14th FICCI higher education summit 2018.
