There are 60 seats in the MBA programme at ADBU. Each student has to sit for one of the entrance tests such as CAT, MAT, CMAT, JMAT, XAT, and GMAT. ADBU’s MBA tuition fee is approximately Rs. 2.00,000 per year. The university has a placement cell that offers various resources and assistance to prepare students for placements. There are no guaranteed placements in the MBA program.

In order to be eligible for admission, you must have passed the examination 10+2 or an equivalent examination by a recognised board. In the examination 10+2, you must have achieved a minimum aggregate of 45% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. You must have appeared in one of the mentioned entrance tests: JEE Main, and DBU-GET.

If you want to apply for Lateral Entry, you must have obtained a Diploma in Engineering and Technology from a recognised institute with a minimum aggregate of 50% in the final year examination. Candidates with a B.Sc. degree from a recognised university who have achieved a minimum of 55% in aggregate and 50% in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry individually can apply. To apply for the examination, candidates must have appeared in the DBU-GET entrance exam.

Assam Don Bosco University is one of the best universities for B.Tech in Assam. Compared to some private engineering colleges, ADBU's fees are considered to be affordable. The campus is well-equipped with labs, classrooms and other facilities. ADBU's faculty members are well-known for their commitment and experience. Though placements have shown some improvement, ADBU's average salary packages for B.Tech graduates may still be lower than some of India's top engineering colleges. The B.Tech admission cut-off is 70-80 percent. The cut-off varies from year to year and depends on several factors. The MBA course of study includes Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Operations Management, and Business Strategy.

To be eligible for BTech admission at ADBU, applicants must have passed Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry/Computer Science as one of the subjects. They must have obtained at least 50% in the above subjects taken together. Additionally, the university may require applicants to have qualified in one of the accepted entrance exams, such as JEE Main, any State Entrance Test, and the Don Bosco University Graduate Entrance Test (DBU-GET).
