There are 100 seats in the hostel which is an Obc hostel having 100 seats. ST or SC hostels are also present which are situated in different places near to college. The registration process of the hostel is to have an OBC certificate. If you don't want to take up a hostel there are many other options like pg at a low cost.

For B.Tech courses, candidates must have passed the 12th from Science stream with a minimum aggregate of 60% along with the qualification result of BCECE.  The cut off ranks for Abdul Kalam Technical University is really high and  if you want to take admission in Abdul Kalam University through JEE Mains your rank must be under 40K.
