    Beauty of Aligarh Muslim University.
Placements: In my class, there are 35 students, and all are from all over India. My university provides many placements in various fields like engineering, medical, teaching, etc. The highest package is I think 5 LPA. That helps the students to grow in various fields.
Infrastructure: My university has the best infrastructure because it was made in 1875, and the structure is based on the structure of the England University. All the hostels have their own history, and all the hostels are named after freedom fighters or people involved in making the university.
Faculty: All the teachers in the university are well-qualified and Ph.D. holders, and they are very cooperative with students. They teach us in the English language, and exams are conducted in various languages like Hindi, English, Urdu, etc. The semesters are not that much difficult because the syllabus is completed before the exams, and the tests that are conducted by the teachers help us to prepare for the final exams.
Other: I chose this course because I want to work for society and its welfare. Sociology teaches us the problems of society and the feelings that people suffered from in the medieval period.

Low placements but superb infrastructure and education.
Placements: Placements for this course are low, at around 30%. The highest package reached 5 LPA, the lowest was around 2 LPA, and the average was 2.5 LPA. Few companies, like NGOs and research firms, recruited. Around 20% of students got an internship at organizations like CRY and Oxfam. The top roles were mainly in research and social work.
Infrastructure: AMU offers decent infrastructure with Wi-Fi, spacious classrooms, and clean rooms, and the food in the mess is decent with variety. Medical facilities are reliable, and sports amenities are good, encouraging a balanced student life. It was a very positive experience.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable and highly qualified but most of them are not very supportive. The teaching quality is solid, making complex topics understandable. The curriculum is relevant but may need more practical exposure for industry readiness. Exams are moderately tough but fair.

Good experience with room for improvement at AMU.
Placements: Sociology batch 2022 women's college: The percent of students placed is 50%; the average package is INR 4.2 LPA; the highest is INR 7 LPA; the lowest is INR 2.5 LPA. Notable recruiters: NGOs, social research organizations, etc. Around 40% got internships with organizations like UNICEF and Oxfam. Key roles include social researcher and community organizer.
Infrastructure: Department of Sociology facilities are average-speed wi-fi, standard labs, classrooms, and libraries. Hostel facilities are decent, but food quality needs a lot of improvement. Sometimes food contains insects, so the canteen remains our option, which has good food. Medical options could be better. Sport and game facilities are available in each hostel.
Faculty: Teachers here are moderately helpful and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is satisfactory. The curriculum lacked some industry relevance. Semester exams are moderately challenging, with an average pass rate and an overall 3-star rating for an average educational experience.

Our college is supportive in academics, and there is a room for facility enhancement.
Placements: Placements are strong, with 85% securing roles. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 5 LPA. Reputed recruiters like Tata Institute of Social Sciences and Oxfam India hire students. About 70% of students got internships in UNICEF and NGOs. Top roles are social researcher, human resource specialist, community organising, and showcasing the program's quality.
Infrastructure: Facilities in our department are well-equipped. Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and library are satisfactory. Hostel facilities need enhancement. Mess and canteen food is average. Medical services are available, while sports options are limited. Overall, our college has conducive environment for academic and personal growth.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is excellent. The course curriculum is relevant, fostering critical thinking. Industry readiness can be improved. Semester exams are moderately challenging, promoting deep understanding. The pass percentage is commendable, reflecting a balanced evaluation.

Review of AMU - Aligarh Muslim University.
Placements: I have seen seniors recruitment where they are offered packages starting from 5 LPA to 8 LPA by companies such as Byjus, E&Y, S&P Global, etc. Around 85% of students get internships.
Infrastructure: The facilities provided by our department are good. It provides free Wi-Fi on the entire campus. The rooms are properly set. The food of the hostel is good enough, and the menu keeps on changing. Department has a distinct library for the students as well.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified Ph.D. professors. They teach students with keen interest. The course curriculum is relevant, and students get enough time with teachers for our doubts. The exams are of average difficulty level, and 40% is the passing percentage.
Other: I opted for this course, because I want to become a sociologist in the future. The best part of the campus is its green environment which gives a fresh mood to study and especially the location of the campus is very good considering it is in the heart of the city which makes it easy for students to reach for anything required outside of the college.
