Aligarh Muslim University has a restrictive campus life for girls, with limited hours for going out and strict attendance policies. However, the university provides multiple sports facilities and good quality mess food. The academic schedule is moderate with around 5-15 lectures per week, and there are well-stocked research and reading resources available. A BSc graduate from Aligarh Muslim University is eligible for various government jobs. AMU has a pre-defined set of eligiblity criteria for admission to the various BSc specialisations that it provides. The eligibility crietra vary across the specialisations. In general, a candidate must have scored a minimum of 50% in Class 12 with relevant Science subjects to be eligible for BSc admission at AMU.
