A: 

In terms of placements, AMU has maintained a good record for Law courses. As per the NIRF report 2023, the highest median package offered during 2022 placements was INR 12.30 LPA and was made to BA LLB students. Q:   Is Aligarh University under CUET?

A: 

Yes, Aligarh Muslim University admission to most of the courses is based on CUET scores. Admission to AMU undergraduate courses including  BSc (Hons.) Community Science, BA (Hons/Research), BVoc in Production Technology, Polymer and Coating Technology and Fashion Design & Garment Technology and BSc (Hons/Research) is completely based on valid Central University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) scores. From the academic session 2022, all the central universities along with a few state-deemed universities and private universities started accepting CUET scores for admission to their UG and PG courses. 

Q:   How many marks required to get admission in AMU?

A: 

The minimum marks required for admission to AMU depends on the selected course. Generally, for all the UG courses the minimum requirement is that the candidate must have passed class 12 with a minimum 50% aggregate and for AMU PG courses admission, 50% in graduation is required.

A: 

Yes, AMU offers admission for UG courses based on NEET UG exam. Considering the Round 5 score for the General AI category, it is possible to get into Aligarh Muslim University at a cutoff rank of 7000.     Finally, I chose the right and affordable college to study BFA in Painting.
    Placements: The placement percentage for students in this course is 80%, with a minimum package of 4.5 LPA, an average package of 7 LPA, and the highest package of 10 LPA. In this course, an average of 25 percent of students secure internships at Delhi and Ghaziabad companies. The top roles offered in this course are graphic designer, art teacher, artist, etc.
    Infrastructure: AMU's Fine Art Department has smart classrooms with basic facilities like Wi-Fi. Additionally, there is a beautiful green park, and special care is taken for cleanliness, though the washrooms tend to be a little dirty. The hostel accommodates four students in one room, and the food quality is very good.
    Faculty: Our teachers provided significant support during the exams and prepared us thoroughly. The knowledge gained from this course will greatly contribute to my chosen career. Consistent daily study of at least two hours ensures good performance in exams. Looking ahead, the average passing percentage in exams ranges from 80% to 90%.
    Other: I chose this course to become a professional artist. The campus is surrounded by greenery, and Wi-Fi facilities are available.

    A: 

    AMU conducts its own entrance test called Aligarh Muslim University Common Admission Test (AMU-CAT) for admission to the MBA course. The Admission Test shall be held at Aligarh, Kolkata & Kozhikode. Based on the marks secured by the candidates in the AMU-CAT entrance test, a merit list for admission will be drawn. Candidates whose names appear in the merit list released by the University are then required to appear for the Group Discussion & Personal Interview (GD & PI) round. The final selection is based on the candidates' performance in the counselling process, conducted by AMU.
