Awesome faculty, good college, and good life.

Placements: Currently I am a 2nd year student pursuing B.Tech. Biotechnology at Amity University Raipur, but my seniors who passed out of B.Tech. got very amazing placements; some of them even got jobs in BIOCON, UNACADEMY, etc. Placements are very nice at this college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our campus is very good; it is one of the best infrastructures in Raipur, and hostels are very clean and nicely maintained. All infrastructure is very luxurious. Every time the staff is available for students, if there is any problem with the infrastructure, they can tell them and also give advice.

Faculty: Teachers are very interactive, and almost all teachers are Ph.D. passouts, and they have so much knowledge of every subject. They actually provide the course material immediately when the year starts, and they also provide assignments; generally, they provide assignments after the completion of 2 modules; it depends on the teacher. In B. Tech. BT, the first year will be totally engineering-based; for example, we will have subjects like chemistry, physics, math, biotechnology, etc. And the student would have a choice to choose his minor track subject, and all subjects in the first year will help in the second year. Semester exams are moderately difficult because it depends on the teacher how hard he sets the paper. The pass percentage is 75% above in the semester exam.

BIOTECHNOLOGY & Amity universe !

Placements: For UG level mainly marketing companies offers the jobs because as it is know that BIOTECHNOLOGY is an r&d field that means one can't easily go out & become a scientist so PG is the necessity, there fore on that note placements are fine on their requirements basis.

Infrastructure: The facilities provided over all are good enough even though it's like about 5th year of the college campus here, classrooms, lecture theaters are well maintained & equipped. Hostels newly built are amazing added the mess food is also good & food provided is up to mark.

Faculty: Faculty members are almost all of them are Ph.D. holders their knowledge in their respective subjects is immensely good. No complains for that at all. Course over all very beneficial & does makes effort to make individuals industry ready to say so market ready. After all of it depends on student's hard work but yes rest facilities are more than enough.

Other: I choose this course called B.Tech BIOTECHNOLOGY because I was always into biology rather to say bio + technology both I was always keen about to know how things works in real life inside a human body or to say how things are arranged what causes what etc. Basically my interest into the biochemistry brought me into this field.

Placements: Almost 50% of the students were placed in my course and the highest package was from Nescafe, TTEC and other major companies. The course is very reliable and relevant, and the roles offered are lab technician, bioinformatics and wet lab work .

Infrastructure: The syllabus is well structured and covers a good amount of all subjects and appropriate knowledge. As a hosteler, the food quality is average, the sports facilities are not that up-to-date, and the sports complex is not that developed but is improving .

Faculty: The faculty members are all very well qualified and the course curriculum is relevant and makes us industry-ready. According to me, the ODF semesters are tough in comparison to even semesters; the passing percentage is 33% out of 100 and the ratio for internal and theory is 70/30.

Other: I took this course because a cousin of mine referred it to me and I found it interesting and very professional. The events and annual fest at my college are very well arranged and a good amount of extracurricular events also take place.

Good Infrastructure, Great Placement, Quite impressive college still not in lime light.

Placements: This year the first batch of my course is passing out. Out of which 100% students were placed. The highest salary was of 10 Lacs pa & the lowest was of 3.5 Lacs pa. Not all the companies are coming for placement now but soon the core companies will also be coming for placement drive. 50% students normally get Internship of around 7-15K stipend per month.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is great. It has a one huge Academic Block fully Air Conditioned. There is basketball court, football ground, cricket ground & volleyball court. For indoor sports there is a facility of Carrom Board, Table Tennis, Chess, Gym, etc. The quality of food is good in the canteen. Hostel rooms are well maintained & housekeeping comes daily in the morning.

Faculty: Faculty members are good, very supportive & understanding. They are always ready to help the students. PPT & field tour methods are also used at times for a better understanding of students. Course curriculum is good. But it is under editing & a more effective & efficient curriculum is soon to be adapted.

Other: Annual fest known as AmiSpark is held every year in the month of February. And an annual sports meet called Sangathan is held in October. Fun activities are held regularly.

The college life is worth remembering.

Placements: The first batch of the college graduates this year, 2018. Good companies are expected to come for recruitment, and the process has already started. The students of Amity can take part in the selection of any company of their choice in any of the Amity campuses across the globe.

Infrastructure: Amity is famous for its top-notch infrastructure. The campus in Raipur is the best among any other university in Chhattisgarh. It has lecture theatres, separate labs for each department, studios, a lavish library, and separate hostels and messes for girls and boys. MI rooms are available both for girls and boys in each hostel wing. An ambulance is always present on the campus for emergency situations.

Faculty: All the faculty members in Amity are well-qualified and capable of doing their jobs well. Especially, in the engineering courses, most of the professors are PhD holders and technically knowledgeable. The mentor-mentee system in Amity is a good way of solving all the problems of students regarding academics and also other issues.

Other: An annual sports event called Sangathan, and a cultural fest called Amispark are the major attractions of Amity. The students get good industry exposure through the educational trips and industrial visits.
