B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2027
Offered by J.J. College of Engineering and Technology
5.0

Good placements available in my college.
Placements: Above 70–80% of students get placed in my course. Most of the students are placed in core companies. The highest package is 15 LPA in my course, the lowest package is 2.5–3 LPA, and the average package is around 4.5 LPA. Many recruiting companies include Infosys, Zoho, IBM, TCS, Wipro, Caterpillar, and HCL.
Infrastructure: It is a Wi-Fi-enabled campus. The entire campus, including hostels, is connected via an optical fiber network. Classrooms are spacious and well ventilated. The hostel facilities at JJCET are generally rated as decent or average by students.
Faculty: Faculty and industry preparation at JJCET are well regarded, particularly following the management transition. The course curriculum is relevant. It covers fundamental concepts and gives a good base for industry requirements. It is easy and also knowledgeable, helping students acquire knowledge and improve extra skills.

Excellent college with strong training and placement support.
Placements: The courses like CS/IT see 80-90 percent placement, while others may vary. The highest package is 45 LPA, the lowest is 3.5 LPA, and the average is 7 LPA. Recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, Amazon, and Google. Common roles include Software Engineer, Data Analyst, and System Architect.
Infrastructure: Talking about the facilities, we have 24/7 Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs (like VLSI or Robotics), and digital library access. The hostel rooms are ventilated and spacious. The mess food is hygienic but repetitive. The sports grounds for cricket or football are available.
Faculty: Professors hold PhDs, and they are approachable for research. The syllabus includes modern tools like AI/ML or Cloud Computing. It’s mostly theory, and it needs more practical workshops. The pass percentage is usually around 90 percent.

B.Tech. in Information Technology - Batch of 2027
Offered by R.M.K. Engineering College

This college is well-suited for those who only do two things study and eat.
Placements: I'm currently in 3rd year of my UG in B.Tech IT, according to my department super seniors who were passed out in the year 2025. The percentage of graduates who got placed in campus selection was about 60% with an average package of 4 LPA. The highest package of the academic year 2025 is about 12 LPA and the lowest package of 3 LPA the graduates placed. The top recruiting companies are Infosys and Virtusa. The percentage of internships is about 30% provided by some new kickstart companies. Top roles offered by our course are full stack engineer, support engineer, product developer, etc.
Infrastructure: The whole infrastructure of my course and hostel is not as good compared with other colleges. The whole infrastructure of the college is about 28 years old. It gives you a feeling of amateurness. The Wi-Fi will be provided for the whole college 24/7. But in the case of power off they don't have any backup. The labs are well-maintained but you will rarely get a chance to use the labs. The infrastructure of classes is pretty average more like an old room, with a digital board. I hardly remember spending time in the library in case you need your department's permission to use the library.
Faculty: Faculty members are pretty experienced and friendly too. You can easily get along with them. 60% of the course curriculum is set by Anna University and the rest 40% is provided by respective partner companies. The exams like unit tests and internals are held very often. The more interested you are the more chance that you will get a good opportunity. The semester exams are a little difficult because the question paper is set by Anna University members. The pass percentage is about 92% of our course.
Other: I chose this course based on my own interests. The best thing about this course is that you can understand how software engineering works. This college is very bad if you are expecting for good campus life. There are no fests, no events, and nothing at all. All you need to do is study and write exams. 80% of the crowd in the college is amateurs they don't know how the outer world is. There are certain rules that must be followed by the students. Men should not talk with women. No phones are allowed inside the campus. No extracurricular activities are conducted.

B.Tech. in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science - Batch of 2027
Offered by J.J. College of Engineering and Technology
4.8

Good college with supportive faculty, nice campus, and good teaching.
Placements: In our batch around 70 percent of students got placed through campus placements. The highest package is nearly 15 LPA, and the lowest is around 2.5 LPA, with an average of about 9 LPA. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and Cognizant visited our college for recruitment. Many students also got internship opportunities in companies and startups. The common roles offered are software developer, data analyst, and system engineer.
Infrastructure: Our department has good facilities like labs, classrooms with Wi-Fi, and a library with useful books. The hostel is decent and clean. Food in the mess and canteen is okay. Medical facilities are available and there are also sports and games for students.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, knowledgeable, and caring like a mother. Teaching quality is good with clear explanations and practical examples. The course curriculum is relevant to current industry needs but students should learn extra skills for better job opportunities. Exams are of a moderately difficult level. The pass percentage is around 80-90 percent. The overall learning environment is supportive and faculty members encourage students to improve in academics as well as personal development. It is a good college experience with scope for improvement in skill-based training and placement opportunities.
Other: I am from the AI&this batch of 2027. I chose this course because I am interested in it and it has good job opportunities. The best thing is that we get basic knowledge and some practical exposure. I feel the course can improve with more practical training. Our college has good events and fests. Students are friendly and the campus is nice and peaceful. Connectivity is good. Scholarships and extracurricular activities like sports are also available.

Decent college with average placements and facilities.
Placements: In our batch, around 70% of students get placed through campus. The highest package is around 7–8 LPA, the lowest is around 2–3 LPA, and the average package is nearly 4 LPA. Companies like Zoho, Wipro, and Tessolve come for recruitment. Around 50–60% of students also get internships in some companies.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is okay and manageable. Classrooms and labs are good enough for learning, and the library has the required books. Wi-Fi is available but is sometimes slow. Hostel facilities are decent. Rooms are okay, and basic needs are available. The food in the mess is sometimes good and sometimes not.
Faculty: Faculty members are mostly helpful and friendly. Some teachers explain really well, while a few are average, but overall teaching quality is okay. Most of them are qualified and clear doubts when we ask. Semester exams are not very difficult if we study properly.
Other: I chose this because I am interested in this field, and it has good career opportunities. The best part is we get basic knowledge and some practical exposure. College conducts events and fests sometimes, which are enjoyable.

There is less scope.
Placements: About 40% of students have been placed each year. The highest package is up to 6 LPA, and the lowest is 2 LPA. Top roles are AI&this and ECE. Top recruiting companies are HCL, Zoho, Wipro, Ramco Systems, etc. Around 50 students get an internship from AI&this department. Top roles are offered at the very beginning level only.
Infrastructure: They provide internet access in labs. But there is no internet connection in hostels, which is so bad for this generation. The infrastructure of the hostels is good, but not many facilities are available here because it is located in a forest region.
Faculty: When you enter the first year, everything seems to be difficult. Teachers are qualified but not very helpful. Self learning is very important in this college. This course curriculum is not 100% relevant, but 70% is relevant. The entire syllabus can be learned in one night if you're capable, which is enough to pass.
Other: I chose this course because of the demand.
