Placements: The placement rate is not that great and only 40 to 50 percent of the students are placed, which is the trend for only getting placed. The highest package that was disclosed was 11 lacs per annum and on average, the salary that has been offered is 4 lacs.
Placements: The placement range for our batch of students was around 54%, which was the highest placement rate. The highest package that was offered in the college was 10 lacs per annum and the average package was 3 lacs per annum. Generally, companies are mostly in research and government.
Placements: There is no consistency in terms of placement, and some years it happens that none of the students are placed and the maximum percentage of a batch is 54%. The average package was offered for around 2.5 lakhs per year. There are no such fixed companies that generally come.
Placements: The placement rate for our batch was only 50%, which is just the average. The highest package that was offered was for 10 lacs per annum and the average package offered was for 3 lacs per annum. The top recruiting companies include Tech for India, KV, etc.
Placements: The kinds of roles that are offered are primarily in the research and academic areas; there are only a few industry jobs available. The internship opportunities are quite limited. The top recruiting companies include companies from research institutions, government agencies and a few private firms.
Placements: There is not such a great placement opportunity available for some batches it was as low as 40 and generally is in between the 50-54% range. The lowest package that was offered was rupees 3 Lacs per annum. Companies like research institutions, government agencies, and some private firms are also part of it.
Placements: The placement data that was shared for our each showed that only 60% of the students were able to get a placement offer. The highest package offered for this course was around 6.5 Lacs rupees per annum. The lowest package offered was for 2 Lacs per annum.
Placements: Placement is below average at Assam University. Every year, only a few students get placement. About 30–50% of students got placement. The average package is about INR 5 LPA. The highest package from Computer Science Engineering is INR 12LPA. The lowest package from CSE is INR 3 LPA.
Placements: Our college doesn't provide good placement opportunities. A few students got placed in our course in some IT companies. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges between 4 LPA - 5 LPA. Companies visit our college to recruit students who have completed their master's degrees. It is a bachelor's college. Many students go for higher studies after a bachelor of science.
Placements: There's no placement cell, most of the students after studying B.Sc. botany go for Masters and there are plenty of good jobs you can pursue after the Masters. You can go for CSIR NET and if you are able to qualify the exam, you can become a college or University lecturer. You can also go for IFS and you can be a researcher at top institutes like ICAR .
Placements: Studying Geology may get jobs at various sectors such as oil India Limited, ONGC. As well as various other sectors such as Banks and Railways. There are students of this college who are currently serving at Geological Survey of India, BARC, Commissioned Officer at Indian Army.
Placements: Our college does not provide placements for our course. You will get placed after your master's from IIT. You have to clear JAM for IIT. There is a 2-year course in masters then you will get placements.
Placements: There were no placements in our college. Internships were also not provided at this college. There were no top recruiting companies. The salary packages were also not decent. Every year, many students graduate without a single job offer.
Placements: Gurucharan College does not have a great record as far as giving placements is concerned. Hardly, there will be a situation when a company comes in search of students at Gurucharan College to make them their employees. Most of the students either opt for Masters, move out of the town or look for government jobs.
Placements: None of the students were placed during my course. Although there is a placement cell but it is not so useful. They don't provide us with industrial experience. Although once they did organize a seminar where we were taught to build our CV and the organizers constantly called us about buying their course. Internships aren't provided.
Placements: Placement system is average. There aren't many top recruiting companies and even if there are, no students get placements. There are no students who got internships. Around 30% of seniors got internships from average-level companies.
Placements: Around 40% of students are placed, and the seating capacity is 70. The companies approaching students for internships are nil. Rather students have to find internships in the market. The role offered in our course is that it makes students appear to be web developers or in the IT sector.
Placements: Placements of our college were very poor. In fact, we had none. No placement committee was established. Almost all the students had to go on their own to find a job. The department did not provide any help. I hope they now have a placement committee. After 5 years of college, ending with no job in hand is distressing and demotivating.
Placements: In our department now 23 students got placed in college. They don't provide salary, and any company don't visit the campus for our department. The top roles are not offered, because our department teacher does not provide high mark. I don't know the reason. In our college, no one got an internship because no company visited the campus. The college doesn't invite any company.
