What is BUAT Admission?
The Banda University of Agriculture and Technology (BUAT) conducts its admission test in order to offer students admission in Agriculture and Horticulture courses which are offered in undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The BUAT Admission is conducted in offline mode i.e. pen and paper test and candidates need to apply and appear for UPCATET. Candidates who qualify, are offered admission to the university. Banda University accepts admission through UPCATET scores.

BSc Home Science |
Candidates should have cleared Class XII in Arts stream with Home Science/ PCB/ PCM/ PCMB/ Agricultural Science subject to be eligible for UPCATET exam. Only female candidates can opt for this course, informs the official website. |
MSc Agriculture |
The candidate should have done their BSc Agriculture from a recognised university and should have secured a minimum of 55% aggregate marks. |
MSc Horticulture |
The candidate should have done their BSc in Agriculture or Horticulture or Forestry from a recognized university in India. The candidate must have also secured a minimum of 50% marks. |

BUAT Admission Process
Candidates will have to follow a step by step process on the BUAT Admission.
Step 1: Registration
Candidates who are interested to get admission in the Banda University of Agriculture and Technology (BUAT), need to visit the official website of UPCATET and register online. Students will have to register online by entering the details and the course interested in. Once registered, the candidate can proceed to fill up the application form
Step 2: Apply Online
The student will have to fill and submit the application form online by entering their personal and academic details, followed by uploading images such as their passport size photograph and signature. Once all the details are entered, the candidate can proceed to pay the application fee online. Once the payment is made, the candidate has successfully applied for UPCATET.
Step 3: Admit Card
The candidate will then have to download their admit card which is an important document which needs to be carried to the exam centre which will be mentioned on the hall ticket (admit card). The admit card will be released online on the official website of UPCATET.
Step 4: Appear for UPCATET
Once the candidate has received their admit card, they will have to appear for the UPCATET exam. The state-level entrance exam is conducted in offline mode and students are advised to reach the exam centre well in time before the entrance exam.
Step 5: Results
The results of UPCATET will be released online in the form of merit list. A cut-off list will be released online and if students meet the cut-off as set by Banda University of Agriculture and Technology, they can apply for admission at the university.
Step 6: Counselling
Students who meet the cut-off list will have to attend the counselling session and will have to book their seat and pay the first semester fees to complete the admission formalities.
