Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) - Batch of 2021

Absolutely loved the experience.
Placements: The total percentage of students placed was around 30-40% because of the COVID situation. Many didn't get the opportunity to get placed. The highest was around 4 LPA for 1 person, and the average was around 3 LPA. The lowest package they offered was 2 LPA. ANZ, Cognizant, HDFC, Capgemini, IBM. 40-50% got the opportunity for internships, which were paid and unpaid as well. Finance analyst, accounts payable, accounts receivable, tax associate, tax analyst.
Infrastructure: We had one library, two to three park kind of walking areas for each and everyone. Wi-Fi was there for teachers and in the canteen for students. Labs and classrooms were maintained well. Food was good, where they offered non-veg once a week and the rest of the days veg. Medical facilities were good because we had a hospital of our college which was situated backside of our campus. Sports and games were good because we had cricket, football ground, and volleyball, tennis courts were also there.
Faculty: They were helpful, well-qualified teachers with double degree holders and had a vast knowledge about the subjects. The course was relevant. Can't judge whether it was easy or tough because it all depends on how to get prepared for the exams.
Other: I chose this course because I was good at finance and accounts in PU. About the course, nothing has to be changed. Events and fests were great. Campus crowd and connectivity were available for students. Surroundings were great. We had scholarships and extracurricular activities.

Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com ) - Batch of 2024
Offered by KLE Society’s Degree College

The infrastructure and some teachers are good but they won't provide placements.
Placements: In this college, they won't provide proper placements. Only sales-related companies visit the college. They won't provide proper packages. They only offer a salary of Rs. 10,000 per month, which is not acceptable. Only a few students get placed with good packages. Only a few companies shown in their brochure visit the campus.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are good and have smart boards. There is a canteen on the campus. The food is average. Its price is also affordable. They won't provide Wi-Fi for all the students. Only teachers and some students who are in culture have access to Wi-Fi.
Faculty: Some teachers have partiality in culture. Only a few teachers teach well in this college. All teachers get changed. New teachers won't teach properly. Teachers are very friendly. Kannada teachers in this department are good and knowledgeable.
Other: In our batch, they didn't take students on any trips, but they provided trips for our juniors. Fests are not good. They won't let students enjoy.

Go here if you want to focus mainly on academics.
Placements: Many were placed into mid-level companies, the accurate placement information is not disclosed, the average package was 3 LPA, recruiting companies were new marketing and sales firms, other new businesses like gyms, cafes, etc. Some students opted for out-of-campus interviews and have been placed in companies like Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, etc.
Infrastructure: Spacious classrooms occupying around 45 students on average; computer and science labs are available; a medium-sized, well-facilitated auditorium; smart classes, etc. are there. Clean restrooms are available; there are no sports courts or playgrounds; and the ambience is quiet and peaceful.
Faculty: The teachers are well experienced and very friendly to approach, the teaching quality is good, and the curriculum includes a lot of subjects students would need to be well prepared for the future. The semester exams are also easy, and a basic knowledge about the subject can get you to pass.

Our college is flexible and better than Christ University.
Placements: At St Joseph University, placements are amazing. All top-notch companies like Amazon, Deloitte, Zerodha, and many more come here for campus recruitment. Almost 98% of students get placements with very good packages. So students have to not worry about it.
Infrastructure: In the St Joseph University, the classrooms are well built with advanced technology system with a sense of traditional. They are well maintained! I do not live in a hostel, but some of my friends do. They say the food and everything there is quite okay.

Other: Our college conducts an amazing fest. There is an amazing crowd. Every week, there is something or the other happening.

I am satisfied because our college has a good environment.
Placements: Around 60-65% of students are available in the B.Com regular stream. The highest salary package offered is above 3 LPA - 5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is around 2 LPA - 2.5 LPA. Big 4 companies like Deloitte, KPMG, PWC, and EY visit our college to recruit students.
Infrastructure: Facilities provided in our college are very good. It has a good environment. There are xerox shops, food, coffee stalls, metro, etc. The college has good chemistry labs, computer labs, and sports association.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They clarify students' doubts very easily. They are understanding. The course of B.Com regular stream is very good. It makes students more confident, bold, and courageous to enter the industry.
Other: I chose the B.Com regular stream because there are more career options after graduation like sales manager, accountant, human resources manager, etc.

B.Com. with ACCA - Batch of 2025
Offered by ISBR Business School

It is not at all worth the money paid.
Placements: I am in my last year. I looked for the internship myself. I hunt for job myself. The placement cell isn't satisfactory. The average salary package offered is around 2.5 LPA - 2.75 LPA. After spending lakhs, I came here on an education loan. It is now very hard for me.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is like it has two-floor buildings. It is just the same size as my school's auditorium. They have a good marketing strategy. They show business college building while applying for the college. We have studied in the law school. It is in a different building. Hostel life is the best for me in my days here. The food is good.
Faculty: Faculty members are the best part of the college. I am from Uttar Pradesh. I never faced any problem, no misbehavior, no linguistic problem, no discrimination. They are very supportive. The curriculum is also good. But it doesn't make students industry-ready. It is just to get the certificate. There is no use after the certificate. According to me, semester exams are easy to crack. Students can score well by studying 2-4 hours before papers.
Other: I am primarily focusing on ACCA. The B.Com program is a supportive course. Here, they offer a B.Com + ACCA program with six exemptions. I believe that classes should be practical rather than overly theoretical or bookish to better prepare students better for industry. Given the financial investment we make, the program should emphasize current industry trends and equip students with practical skills that align with those trends. Regarding events and festivals, I've noticed a lack of activity. I've never seen any festivals take place here. Events are not interactive, and there is consistently low attendance on campus due to its infrastructure. Last year, we had a sports event, but it is not happening this year.
