Flexible college in doing courses.
Placements: Most dedicated placement offices and they gave proper guidance to the students from the initial period of joining the college courses. As department-wise career guidance and counseling arranged for students. Till now most of the students got placed with 3,50,000 as an average package.
Infrastructure: Library contains unlimited collection of books, magazines, periodicals, etc. And it was accessible by everyone. Also, we have all the digital resources which were helpful during placements. In canteen, there is a separate space allotted for cafeterias and food courts.
Faculty: Teachers follow a specific style in handling the class. They learn each and every day as like students. Our teachers gave special attention to low-grade students. And continuous tests/exams were conducted by the teachers rather than taking class. Mostly teachers were qualified and well experienced.

Masters of Social Work - Batch of 2020

Short and sweet note about my MSW course in Holy Cross College.
Placements: Placements were supported for the students who didn't have any active backlogs in their academics. Active placements were available in various sectors such as NGOs, corporate social responsibility, hospital sectors, and other private sectors. I got placed in the hospital sector with a package of 3,20000 Lacs.
Infrastructure: To support fieldwork, transportation facilities were actively arranged by the management. Also, various NGOs and NSS were supported by the college management. It’s necessary to wear a uniform during fieldwork and practicals. Classrooms were sanitized once in two days.
Faculty: It’s a full-time program planned with four semesters. The first three semesters include theoretical examinations in the fields of hospitality and social work. The last semester includes practical-oriented fieldwork. Teachers were highly qualified and dedicated.
Other: I am passionate about doing social work, that’s why I selected this course to serve people. Cultural fests occurred once every year. Also, traditional events were celebrated in our college.

Master of Social Work (MSW) at Holy Cross College.
Placements: Our placement staff has one main goal to achieve a higher placement count compared to other colleges. They treat everyone equally by placing all students in various companies. If students receive offers, they are allowed to participate only after everyone got the chance to take in the drives.
Infrastructure: Students are provided with individual usernames and passwords to access free internet services. For security, surveillance cameras are installed throughout the college campus. In the hostel, there is a large laundry area for eating and relaxing.
Faculty: Our teachers strictly follow the rules set by the management and ask us to do the same. They are regular learners and sometimes encourage us to believe in God. We must wear the uniform daily, and it should be worn properly. They excel in their coaching and maintain high standards.

The best college for MSW.
Placements: Almost 90% of my course students got job placement. For this course, the highest salary package offered was 6 LPA, and the average was around 4 LPA, with the lowest package being 3.5 LPA. Top recruiters for my batch are NGOs, hospitals, and organizations like CRY, HelpAge India, and various government agencies. 80% of our students get internships. The top roles offered to students are community outreach, social research, and human resource development.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are fully air-conditioned and fully furnished. Free Wi-Fi access is here. The college labs are good and have all the necessary equipment. We have an excellent library that is full of various books, articles, journals, and magazines that help the students. Food items in the canteen and food court are very healthy. Sports and games are open to all. Our college also has medical facilities.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good. All the teachers in the college are well-educated and knowledgeable in their respective fields. Their teaching technique is great. The syllabus of this course is relevant to make students industry-ready. The semester system has a great learning period and allows students to familiarize themselves with the subjects. Semester exams are moderately difficult. Our course pass rate is 80%.

Overall best college for a Master of Social Work course.
Placements: Approximately 75% of students progressed in our study. The average salary is Rs. 22,000 per month. The maximum salary offered is Rs. 30,000 per month. Top recruiters are Dabur India Ltd., CVS Health, Mindful Health Solutions, etc. Top roles offered are case manager, behavior analyst, etc. About 60% of students got internships.
Infrastructure: Our college housing is not very good. The Wi-Fi connection is poor. A computer room is fine, but sometimes, most computers won't work properly. Classrooms are well-maintained and clean, so the atmosphere is good. Our office is in excellent condition. The library is good and quiet. It has a good collection of books.
Faculty: The teachers of our college were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was excellent and very practical. The courses offered in our college are curriculum-related. This prepares the students for work. Semester exams in college are a bit more difficult. Our pass percentage isn't bad. The pass rate is 60%.
