I am satisfied with all facilities and placements.

Placements: Last year in mathematics and computing, more than 85% of students got placed. As we are at BIT, Mesra, we got an opportunity to take placements in companies in which CSE students participate. The highest salary package offered is 42 LPA. The average salary package offered is around 13 LPA - 15 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 9 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Atlantis, JP Morgan, Accenture, Deloitte, etc. More than 300 companies participate in the placement drive. More than 70% of stu...

Review of BIT Mesra Ranchi.

Placements: A total of 40% of students are placed with the highest package of INR 18 lacs and the lowest package of INR 4 lacs. Deloitte, Future First, Media.Net, and Infosys are the top recruiting companies. Only 3.5% of students go for internships. The top roles offered are data analysts and software development engineers; many go for higher studies to do a Ph.D.

A pretty good choice if you aren't getting into top NITs.

Placements: The integrated 5-year master's program in Quantitative Economics and Data Science was introduced at BIT Mesra in 2021. Currently, there is no batch graduating, as the first batch will pass out in 2025. As far as placements are concerned, our faculty is pretty relaxed about it, as our seniors are getting internships at good places, and our course is designed in a way that meets industry requirements.

It is an excellent college and worth it.

Placements: As this is a new course so there are no exact placements data available anywhere, but this course structure is good so placements must be good after the first batch of this course will pass out, and students can check salaries for data scientists online for different companies.

Amazing Campus Life with good memories.

Placements: As we know there isn't any placements as such for B.Sc. Physics graduates, but someone with good IT Skills can land themselves a job outside of college domain. As well since 2019 we have been introduced such IT related courses which are quite helpful to begin with somewhere.

Review of Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra.

Placements: BIT Mesra is a renowned technical institute since 90s which is an engineering college and students are admitted to it based on their JEE Mains results. With the development of the curriculum now it is constituting many other course degrees excluding B.Tech. I am a 3rd year student pursuing integrated masters in mathematics and computing is a 5 year course with a UG+PG degree and being a placement-oriented branch because of coding and computer in its syllabus students are getting opportunities to...

Faculty members are good here, but they are orthodox. The infrastructure is very good.

Placements: Around 30%-40% of the students get placed from our course. They get an average salary package of around 6 LPA-7 LPA. The percentage of students who get internships from here is quite high. Students get internships in good IITs and in basic science, project, research and FOX.

Our college has a good balance of study and college life.

Placements: I am still pursuing my course, but physics students don't have any placements, as told by the seniors. Some companies do come for mathematics and computing students, but none for physics. There is a Teqip cell in the college, that provides internships in companies or IITs, but the placement cell is primarily not for physics aspirants.

It is a good campus with a source of entertainment and fun.

Placements: Placements of branches like computer science, ECE and ECE are quite good, but for others, it is a bit hard to get placed. Integrated M.Sc in physics and chemistry does not have placements. In integrated M.Sc in mathematics and computing, 4-5 students out of 100 students got placed after completing 5 years. I took integrated M.Sc in physics, but there are no placements for this particular subject.

Everything is good here except for its administration and some of the stubborn faculty members.

Placements: There is no placement kind of thing in our course because people usually go for research work. There is also a trend that student leaves the college in the third year and complete their masters from other colleges of the country or abroad through JAM.

I am not exactly satisfied with the college, and I am sure most of the students will agree.

Placements: I am doing my integrated B.Sc. and M.Sc. in physics, and placements for this course is nil. As the outside world projects it, Birla Institute of technology is not all that it seems. It doesn't guarantee 100% placements even for B.Tech courses. However, placements are definitely better for computer science and other circuital branches. Companies like Microsoft and Goldman Sachs are regular recruiters. Almost 60% of students of the circuital branch get placed. Companies like Tata frequently visit ...

Dissatisfied with the administration of this college.

Placements: The college provides only a few placement opportunities for the students of our department. The placement rate is quite low here. The reason behind this is IMSC chemistry course is comparatively a new branch in this college, and the management needs some time to show its strength to the fullest. From the 2015 batch, only 2 students got placed in cement industry.

The review of BIT Mesra - Birla Institute of Technology.

Placements: Placements for the integrated M.Sc., course are not good. Only the best students will get the job. However, one can get a decent job after the completion of their course but not through campus placement drives. Most of the placement opportunities are offered for B.Tech students as compared to the students of the integrated M.Sc. course as this course is not widely recognised. However, one can have a good future if they pursue it.
