It has highly qualified faculty members, modern infrastructure, and an industry-relevant curriculum.

Faculty: The computer science department offers highly qualified, knowledgeable, and approachable faculty members who provide invaluable guidance. The course curriculum is well-structured, regularly updated to meet industry standards, and incorporates student feedback each semester to stay relevant. The course curriculum provides a solid foundation for industry readiness, and students are encouraged to enhance practical skills independently. The workload is balanced in the initial semesters, allowing stu...

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty, as it's too aggressive and strict.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, but they are very strict and aggressive in nature. However, they complete the syllabus on time by taking extra classes. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant and prepares students well. The semester exam in my college is moderate, and around 85% of students pass every year.

Review of Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra.

Faculty: The faculty in my experience was a mixed bag of positive and negative experiences; at times there were faculty members who have really pushed me through my way, but at times I had horrible experiences where the faculty mistreated and misguided me a lot.

The college has a good reputation and a great place to be in.

Faculty: The faculty is top notch and the exams are held under a very strict standard. The semester is 5 months with some kind of test/exam being held every month. Labs get a little hectic. One needs to catch up with what the faculty is teaching in order to do well in exams as most of the questions are discussed in class.

The ROI of this college is quite less for core branches.

Faculty: Faculty members are highly experienced in their respective fields. All of us are the holders of dual and triple degrees. We have our HOD of CSE from IIT Bombay itself who is so talented. Also, we have Tandon sir as the mathematics HOD who teaches math so easily.

Review about Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and have their own cabins. All are qualified with Ph.D. Class timings are from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, and breaks are available in between. The maximum class time is one hour. Semester exams are quite tough, and the evaluation of copies is very strict.

Would like to recommend this college. Join it and expose yourself.

Faculty: Faculty over here is too nice, to be honest. Each and every faculty member over here is dedicated to teaching. They really want to make students understand. Each faculty member over here is well qualified, in fact, most of them are doctorates.

Good infrastructure and a good placement-wise college.

Faculty: Teachers are really helpful and well-qualified. In our department, some teachers have done their masters from IITs. Some teachers have done several research papers. Some teachers are good at beautifully delivering their lessons. Some teachers only go through PPTs without explanation not even a single thing. We have 2 quizzes of 10 marks, a mid-semester of 25 marks, and an end-semester of 50 marks. Around 5 marks are up to the teacher.

Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi.

Faculty: The faculty members at this institute are very good. They are very helpful and cooperative, and guide the students very well. The curriculum is very good, and the semester is divided into two quizzes: one mid-semester and one end-of-semester.

Placements are good if you are willing to work hard college will really help you.

Faculty: Most of the professors are very good, and they are very approachable. They have high qualifications, and most of them have PhDs and studied abroad. All classes are taught in English, although the professors sometimes speak in Hindi.

BIT Mesra (A college with a beautiful campus and good campus life).

Faculty: The faculty members are average. Some of the faculty members are good, but some are very strict and can't teach nicely. The course curriculum is also old but somehow relevant to make the students industry-ready. The semester exams are moderate, with almost 70% of people passing the exams.

At first, it seems good, but it's not.

Faculty: Faculty members are just *** except for some. Most of them are frustrated. Teachers are very much qualified, but they can't deliver what they know. The course curriculum is just like other IITs, and NITs, and is not ready for the industry. Semester exams are just normal; if you study, you will get marks; otherwise, not.

BIT Mesra is indeed one of the best colleges for placements.

Faculty: The faculty in this college is up to the mark. Most of them have Ph.D. degrees from top colleges. The faculty-to-student ratio is not good. The curriculum of the college is the same as what is designed by the government for the other colleges.

BIT Mesra in a Nerd's POV.

Faculty: Most of the faculty members are great, well-educated, and highly qualified. They are from foreign universities, etc. The whole physics department has very strict faculty members. They berate you even if you come 5 minutes late in class. The rest are hill proof. In IMSc MnC, this year we even have Dr. Randhir Singh sir one of the world's top 2% scientists as our faculty.

Placements are average. Campus has very good infrastructure with greenery.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified. Though it is a college, teachers try to provide one-to-one attention. But it depends on how students interact with teachers. They all are helpful. IMSc Physics students get their 1st year syllabus with B.Tech students. We got to know from seniors that the syllabus is outdated, so we need to study ourselves in order to grab a good package.

The B.Pharm course at BIT Mesra is generally regarded as good, offering a solid academic foundation. However, placement opportunities seem limited, with only about 5% of students securing jobs by the 7th semester, and the overall internship experience may vary.
