Placements: Placements are pretty good especially this year, but as all we know those 2/3 months were very hectic anf full of ups and down but you will feel satisfied when I say you that we have almist 100 percent placements. So just be relaxed if you come to the college because this is the best private college in india.
Placements: More than 90% of the students willing for placements, get placed. In core mechanical, the average salary offered is around 4.5 to 5 Lacs CTC. The highest is around 6.5 Lacs. Most of the mechanical students prefer non-mechanical job profiles and can expect more than 6 Lacs package. The internships/thesis is compulsory and 100%. The mechanical core stipend can vary from 5k to 10k per month. There is a placement cell headed by a professional, working with the students selected in placement cell. Th...
Placements: The placements in the college are decent and much better than most other engineering colleges, especially for computer science stream. The highest package at the time of my placements went to 40 LPA, good off-campus prospects as well. The college has an international reputation, which also makes the higher education easier.
Placements: Placement 2017-2018 - more than 80% ( Official data is still not available) Previous year placements also have been great with average package of 14 lacs for CSE, and 8-12 lacs for other branches the highest packages - 53 Lacs ( domestic) couple of years back.
Placements: The placements in the mechanical department were better this year. The average salary package was 6.8 LPA, and more than 87% of the students were placed on campus. The core package has been increasing since past few years. The highest placement offered this year was more than 16 LPA, and the lowest was around 4 LPA. Many of the companies like Bajaj and Mercedes which was present for the placement is a huge thing.
Placements: The placement stats are really good this year. Oracle took 13 students, BCG took two students, Texas also took 2-3 students, and other companies for IT like Direct, Goldman Sachs, De Shaw, Nutanix, Myntra, Amazon, Samsung, and Citi bank were also here for the placements, and each of them at least took 2 of the students.
Placements: The placement cell at BITS Pilani has been showing consistent results for the past few years. While CSE graduates get placed approximately 100% of the time, the core placements are on the lower side. The highest salary offered was about 60 LPA. While the reputable companies like Microsoft and Amazon offered a good portion of the higher paying packages in the companies like TCS covered, the lower portion.
Placements: The placements are good only computer science people, and for the other branches, the placements are a few. Most of the other branch people take up either finance or try to sit for computer science jobs by doing a few courses. Some of them write GATE and get placed in PSUs. The students run the placements division.
Placements: The placements are very good if you have a 'bitsian' tag name. The average salary offered for CS being around 17 LPA (Oracle, Flipkart and Amazon). For ECE and EEE, the package offered is around 12 LPA. About 95% of the students were placed in the core placements, which is also pretty good with companies like Qualcomm, Intel, Schlumberger and Shell. The average package offered was around 10 LPA.
Placements: Placements are great with a lot of students getting placed in IT firms for huge salaries. The rest of them got placed in core companies and finance companies with a huge amount of salaries. About 80% to 90% of the students were placed during the placement season.
Placements: Placements for the Computer Science Department have always been a catchy scenario at BITS Pilani, with around 30-40 core companies offering an average CTC of around Rs. 17 LPA. It also takes place on a day-wise basis, with around 10 companies each day. The first two days of the placements are quite attractive as the companies offer more than Rs. 25 LPA during this duration. Moreover, with a brilliant profile of students sitting for the placements, the placement success was 100%. The highest offe...
Placements: The college offered an average package around Rs. 9 lacs per annum. The companies like India mart, Accenture, Cognizant and also the giant Bombardier visited the college for the recruitment process. The college also offers the practise school in JP Morgan and Credit Suisse for finance enthusiasts.
Placements: The placements are decent, and about 90% of the students got placed. Major recruiters are Accenture, India Mart, KPMG global services, and cognizant for the senior batch. Also, JP Morgan, Credit Suisse and other big names are there for practice school for MBA students of BITS Pilani.
Placements: Placements at BITS Pilani, Hyderabad campus are impressive. For our junior batch, the placements have been very good, and the companies are offering a salary package of 8 LPA to 10 LPA being a common factor. The campus saw some of the best companies in their industries visits for the placements process in the past years.
Placements: The lowest package is 6 LPA, the highest was 18 LPA, and the average will be around 9 LPA in this year. Bombardier, Accenture, Cognizant, KPMG, Indiamart, etc., were the recruiters this year. Profiles like B.A. product manager, HR, bid analyst, etc., were the roles mainly offered in this year.
Placements: The placements for my batch were not great, but this was partly due to market factors and a blanket ban on several startups by the college (which was because they had rescinded the offers to some students of my senior batch). The computer science placements are good, with most students getting packages of over 18 LPA, but the core placements in other engineering branches are average and most of the batch ended up with jobs in non-core analytics roles.
Placements: The placements in our college in the CS department is very good comparative to other departments. In other departments, there is a chance that you will get placed in good companies but packages will not be something to brag about. There is an opportunity that you can excel in minors like finance or physics or maths and hence you can get a job in those fields, as far as I have heard from my seniors.
Placements: With respect to chemical engineering, the placement scenario was pretty bleak. Not many core companies come to recruit students. During the year I sat for placements, a handful of 3-4 chemical companies came to recruit students for a core job. Among these were Shell, who recruited students for roles like process engineer, reservoir engineer, rotating equipment engineer (only for the mechanical stream). It offered the highest salary among the core companies, of Rs. 14 lakh per year. Not far behin...
Placements: Placements weren't very good in my batch and were even worse for the batch senior to mine. Although a lot of students got placed in IT, there were very few core industries visiting the campus and they did not hire as many as expected. Overall, the placements were good only for computer science students. The highest package offered on-campus was 20LPA by Housing.com and the average was around 13LPA. Some companies that visited the campus were Housing, Amazon, Walmart, Barclays, Goldman Sachs, J P...
Placements: The placements of BITS Pilani are not as good as they are made out to be. The students studying computer science generally receive large packages while the rest of the branches have a much lower average package. The highest international package this year was about Rs. 60 lakhs per annum and the lowest package was Rs. 3.5 lakhs per annum. Mostly, non-core roles are offered to the students.
