Placements: Placements are great for the computer science branch. Core placements in other branches are pretty underwhelming. The highest packages are about Rs. 65 LPA (overseas), Rs. 30 LPA (in India), and the lowest is about Rs. 4 LPA, with most of the students from the remaining branches either choosing to pursue higher studies or ending up in a non-core profile including banking, analytics, etc.
Placements: Placements were excellent. Out of a batch of 900, only about 50 students were unplaced. The average package was 11 lakh per annum, while the highest one was 65 LPA offered by Daikin for a job in Belgium. BITS Pilani doesn't have any official internship drive, so I can't comment on that. There is, however, a program called Practice School wherein a student interns at a company for one whole semester in his/her final year. The allotment is done by BITS only, and reputed brand names like PwC, JP Mo...
Placements: BITS Pilani ensures a 100 % placement mark throughout its disciplines though the median among the different branches varies greatly. BITS Pilani has been a pool for a large number of recruiters both in quality and quantity. BITS Pilani campuses schedule two placement seasons every year and many big companies like Oracle, Microsoft, L&T, etc. visit the campus in both the placement seasons. About or nearly 55 students sit for placements every year and almost all of them manage to secure a job. ...
Placements: One of the best placements in India. Roughly every batch gets 80% placements with some of the students opting for masters or their own startups. Placements in the core branches are difficult but students will get the, easily for the IT and consulting companies. The average stipend is rupees 8,00,000 per annum.
Placements: The placements are good compared to other engineering colleges inIndia. The average package for electronics and instrumentation was nearly 15-17 lakhs per annum. A lot of good companies visit BITS Pilani. Most of the placements are in non-core. Students also get PPO's in their practice school 2 (PS 2).
Placements: You don't really have to worry a lot about the placements when you are in an institute like BITS. You just have to be concerned about your capabilities. The college will provide a lot of opportunities to brush up all your potential. The institute in itself is capable of providing good placements. You have to make yourself capable of competing with the best. You have to prove them in person all of your potential and that you're worth the heavy pay sum.
Placements: Each year, placements in BITS Pilani are conducted in both the semesters. The college provides an option to all the students, in their final year, to either sit for placements in the first semester, doing the internship in the second or vice-versa. This year was the placement year for my batch. Placement season was a little weak this year compared to other years. Even when the on-campus recruitment window is about to close, some 16% students are still unplaced. Talking about the highest and low...
Placements: Placements of our senior batch were decent, as it depends mostly on the caliber of student, many were able to bag lucrative offers from dream companies in the first few weeks of placement season. Students who got placed in dream week got offers >10 lakhs per annum, and got placed in the first two weeks of the season. About more than 90% of the batch was placed, of which there was 99% placement in IT, companies from other sectors also recruited like analytics, finance, management etc. Highest pa...
Placements: Placement statistics for our seniors and the current batch varies according to the semesters. Many big IT companies visit our campus such as Microsoft, Morgan Stanley, Jp Morgan, Oracle, Adobe, Nutanix, Amazon etc and offer around 20 L - 30 L per annum. But these companies are subjected to students' skill in programming concepts, so approximately 50 students out of 600 are placed in these dream companies. Then come the startups and some other core companies of electronics such as Texas instrume...
Placements: All famous companies like Flipkart, Amazon, Qualcomm, Texas Instruments etc visits the campus during the placement season. More than 90% of students are well placed. The average salary of students in IT sectors is obviously higher than those in their core companies. The good part is that more than 80% of IT companies are open for electronics students. Many students get a PPO as BITSians have to do an internship for 1 semester in their last year. The placement has been always good at BITS Pilani....
Placements: As you all know BITS is the best private institution in India. The placement situation in it is excellent with a healthy ratio of 95% students getting placed in very good firms. It is among very selected colleges in India where Google comes for recruitment. The highest package offered is more that 1 crore INR per annum with an average of 9 lakhs and a min of 4.5 lakhs per year. Google, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, DE Shaw, Nutanix, Schlumberger etc came for campus recruitment.Aas I have discussed 100...
Placements: Our seniors did not have decent placements as expected from BITS courses. Being in a pharma background that too of a masters degrees, one thing that must be taken into account is that the placements will always be on the lower side. Besides highly paid jobs for other courses in BITS offered on campus, a master in pharmacy cannot expect a job of more than 6 LPA from a consultancy firm that visits the campus. Since pharmacy also deals a lot with research, there are only one or two R&D companies th...
Placements: The placements are good but better companies need to be brought in. Most of them were startups or companies with not a very good profile being offered. So, more companies deserve to be pitched, looking at the talent the students possess. However, a few big names do come for the recruitment which includes Cognizant, TCS, Gartner, KPMG Global Services, TATA Teleservices etc.
Placements: Placement for our batch wasn't that good. But I could assure you that if you are a computer science student you could get a very good package. Most of them get placed or get a pre-placement offer. The highest package was around Rs. 20 lpa and the lowest was around Rs. 4 lpa. The average package is around Rs. 6 lpa. Few companies which visited were Walmart, Microsoft, Amazon, Mu Sigma, Thorogood, Hero Motocorp. , SKF Bearings, L&T, Futures First etc. There is a wide range of roles offered- softw...
Placements: The overall average package is close to 12 LPA but it is so because of the high packages in computer science and economics branches. In the core sectors such as mechanical, civil or chemical, the average package will range around 5.5 to 7.5. EE engineering is good in terms of placements with the average being around 9-10 LPA. BITS Pilani has a two-semester placement system and you can sit only in one of the semesters. For chemical, Schulenburg, UOP Honeywell, P&I, Reliance Energies, Exxon mobi...
Placements: Nearly 70 percent of the students get placed within one month of placement season. BITS has tie-ups with industries where students do an internship of six months as a part of their course curriculum. Many students get placed in their internships. Placement numbers are really good for IT/consulting. Core companies for chemical and mechanical do come but openings are limited. Finance and Analytics also have great openings. The highest package in CS till now has been 1.4 crore. Average package is a...
Placements: Core companies like Honeywell, Reliance and Schlumberger do visit the campus, although they choose only the best of the best. Most of the students get placed. The average CTC is around 7 LPA for chemical engineering. Schlumberger offers the highest package. Most of the students actually interested in the chemical branch end up in the US for Masters. The ones who are not get placed at non-core companies like Credit Suisse or some IT firm. Internship opportunities are low. ...
The campus environment is extremely conducive to pursue your passion in academics and extracurriculars. With zero attendance policy and a flexible timetable, you dictate your life on campus. Feedback from companies guide the curriculum in the right direction and has a good number of faculties actively involved in research. A variety of elective courses and projects to choose from ensures that you get to shape your career the way you want. With vision 2020, BITS Goa has seen a tremendous improvem...
It is widely known as the best private engineering institute and stands among the top engineering B-schools of India. It does not have any reservations, hence the students that come to BITS are all qualified to be studying here. The crowd is very sober, intelligent and smart which probably distinguishes them from others. The campus life and the culture is by far the best in India. It transforms you entirely, your personality, your outlook and when you leave you would be ready to lead the world.
Center of excellence, young bright minds surround you, and the overall atmosphere is very conducive to the healthy development of a teenager’s personality. The location is not easily accessible, and the facilities are adequate, but nowhere close to that of a city, that’s the only drawback I can say.
