Coming to your present query no JEE Mains is not a mandatory to seek admission in engineering undergraduate courses for this you may also do what is called as GUJCET. Of course the ranking obtained in JEE Mains is also acceptable for admissions in different engineering streams.

Yes, Charotar University of Science and Technology does accept NRI and NRI sponsered students for its courses. Students are required to fulfil the admission criteria as specified in the university's guidelines. The university reserves a certain number of total seat intake of each course for NRI students. Students can pay the course fee in both INR and US Dollars. NRI Sponsorship can be from a blood relation/ friend/ colleague/ acquaintance. Students must present the university with the following documets:

In CHARUSAT, Application, prospectus and registration fees once paid will not be refunded once the payment is done except some situation. Further, the university refund caution fee deposit. If you want to pursue UG degree from Chaotar University of Science and technology, the fees is not too high as comparitively to other private universities.

This is so because the Charotar university offers a fullfledged 2 years master of business administration course whereas Indrashil University offers only one year duration post graduate Diploma in management course.

Charotar University of Science and Technology is the best university in Gujarat whereas University of Indrashil University is one of the best universities in Ahmedabad.

CHARUSAT was established in 2000 and is accredited by NAAC. This university is also approved by AICTE and is A grade. They accepted national exam such as JEE Main/ GATE / GPAT/CMAT/  NET and the state exam ie GUJCET. 100% placement is provided with a decent salary package.

Indrashil University is a privately owned and established in 2017 through the Gujarat Private Universities Act 2017 and is recognised by UGC. It offers100% placement with an internship of 10 months. Indrashil University also offers a range of research facilities for students. 

Students seeking to get into the BTech programme offered at the university must satisfy the admission criteria for the course. BTech admission at Charotar University of Science and Technology is entrance-based. Students need to appear for the accepted entrance exams i.e., JEE Main/ GUJCET. The basic eligibility is to pass Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 45% from a recognised board. Hence, you can apply for CHARUSAT BTech course if you have scored less than 70% in Class 12 boards, given you meet the admission criteria as mentioned above.

Hello Nishar Ahmed, the fees for MBA course is about 1.30 Lacs per year. University provides hostel accommodation to boys and girls both and there is a wide variety to choose from, like single occupancy, double occupancy, quad occupancy, and also AC or non AC. The fees of course will vary depending on which hostel one chooses and it can vary from 25000 per year to about 100000 per year. In addition to this, students have to pay for food charges which are about INR 4000 per month. Perhaps being University in Gujarat they provide only vegetarian food in these hostels.
