They have good placements, faculty, infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: I am currently studying for CUSAT. I am a PG student in Hindi literature, and we also have a one-year diploma course with this. In our department, there is no placement, but in the one-year diploma program, we get internships. We are provided with a 5-day internship here.
Infrastructure: Our department has a huge block. We have our own library which contains 50000 books approximately. We have a computer lab for Hindi typing. In our hostel, there is every facility. Good water, a good room, and good food. We have a new warden. The rooms in the hostel are small but okay for 4 people to stay.
Faculty: Our exams are very tough, but our teachers are really educated. They help us in their own way. They give us lecture notes and help us in our studies. Our exam papers are conducted by our own teachers and also valued by them. They show us the pros and cons of our paper after evaluation.
Other: There are more than 27 departments here. And the campus life is good. We are friends with all departments. The students are really friendly.

Till now, it has been good! Nice overall! Good placement and college life.
Placements: About 60-65% of the students from our course got placed. Mainly in the banking sector, such as ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, and some private companies like Wipro, Infosys, etc., visit our college for placements. Our college prepares students for further Ph.D. and provides knowledge for competitive exams like IES, IAS, PCS, etc. They also prepare us for upcoming lectures.
Infrastructure: Hostels in CUSAT have decent facilities with awesome infrastructure, providing basic yet decent quality amenities. In a single room, there are 3 beds, a table, and a fan. The meals provided in the hostel are okay, with not a wide variety of food. The registration process to get a hostel room is simple. Students from distant places are given more priority for hostel living. The hostel fee, including expenditure on food, is just 2300 rupees per year.
Faculty: I chose it because library facilities are good, with a central library and a cyber library. The libraries maintain pin-drop silence. In master courses, the intake is about 100 for each course. Faculty members are helpful for any kind of assistance. All faculty members are qualified in the NET GRF examination, and their teaching processes are excellent for me. All classrooms have computer projector facilities. Exams are conducted in two semesters per year, with a passing mark of 33%. Following past years' question papers and paying careful attention to lectures is crucial. Class size: 67 Course fees: INR 29000 per year.

No, CUSAT (Cochin University of Science and Technology) does not admit students solely through the CAT (Common Admission Test). For most undergraduate programs, CUSAT conducts its own entrance exam called the CUSAT-CAT. However, for some courses like MBA, admissions are based on the CAT scores, whil
