CUSAT MCA Eligibility & Highlights 2024
Cochin University offers two MCA (Master of Computer Applications) programmes – MCA Regular and MCA Cost Sharing. The duration of the postgraduate programme is of two years, divided into four semesters. Admission to these courses is based on CUSAT CAT (Common Admission Test) score. Candidates who make it to the CUSAT CAT Rank List become eligible to choose the MCA programme in order of their preference. The order in which a candidate selects the programmes is considered the order of preference and the seat allotment is based on the order of choices and the candidates’ rank.
Department of Computer Applications, CUSAT provide equal education opportunities with seats for reserved category candidates. The SC/ST candidates can also check for a fee exemption or concession. However, for relaxation in fees, the submission of relevant documents is necessary. Candidates fulfilling the eligibility conditions and the selection criteria are offered a seat in their desired MCA programme. The step for admission at CUSAT Kochi is the application process. Candidates who register themselves for the entrance examination and submit applications on time shall be eligible for admission.
