I am completely satisfied. It one of the best self-financing engineering colleges.
Placements: The placement record of the college is excellent. Almost 90% of eligible students got placed in reputed companies like Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, etc. Roles like software engineer, test engineer, system analyst, technical support, etc., were offered. Senior batch students were also placed in highly reputed companies. There is a highly dedicated placement cell.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is excellent. Labs are well-equipped. There are highly efficient and qualified lab assistants. There are a centralised library and a separate library for all departments. Wi-Fi service was provided here. The health centre is available here and a doctor is also available. Classrooms and hostel rooms are spacious.
Faculty: The college follows outcome-based education and revised Bloom's taxonomy. Faculty members are highly qualified and experienced. They are highly dedicated and they always tried to follow innovative teaching methods. They regularly conduct remedial sessions for weak students.
Other: The college provides constant support and motivation for innovation and research activities. The college provides good support and encouragement for conducting tech fests and college fests. There is good support for extracurricular activities.

The college is good with good ambience.
Placements: Our senior batch had a placement percentage of about 30%, and their placement history was good with good companies hiring them with the highest salary package of 3 LPA. Many well-known companies visited the campus for placement. CUSAT placement cells are effective for getting a campus placement.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi facility is in all the main buildings on the campus. The classrooms are well-equipped and furnished. The medical facilities are available in emergencies. There are a vast sports facilities and large ground. There are different canteens on the campus, where you get the different varieties of food. The hostel rooms are neat.
Faculty: The teachers are well-educated, experienced, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. The teachers use different teaching methods. The student to faculty ratio is 20:1. The students get enough industry exposure. The course curriculum is useful for the students.

Other: CUSAT is Kerala's first technical university. Mechanical engineering department has got well qualified faculty with all of them having secured their Ph.D from India's top universities like IIT Madras, IIT Karagpur, IISC Bangalore, etc. CUSAT provides better facilities and exposure to the students. This campus doesn't interfere into student’s freedom. Placements are less for M.Tech students. First year of the M.Tech course is completely meant for course work. With total of 6 subjects, 1 lab, 1 seminar in each semester. Second year is meant for project work. Either we can do project in the campus itself where they will provide full facilities available at the labs or we can do projects in any company. 18 seats are available in each stream of M.Tech. Campus life is awesome at CUSAT. CUSAT remains fully live with various events organised by the students under various departments. CUSAT has a good campus as well.

Other: The college has a good placement record for every year. The infrastructure is not that great if compared to other self-financing colleges in Kochi. However, the B.Tech and M.Tech degree from this college has a good demand and value in the job industry. The faculty standard depends on the department, and some of the faculty members may change yearly. I took both my B.Tech and M.tech from this college. You can also make many friends if you opt for this college. The campus life at my college is very great. There are so many celebrations like art festivals, tech festivals, and rock band shows yearly. The campus life at CUSAT is a lifetime gift.
