The perfect university for the fresh minds, who want to learn physics with good exposure.
Placements: There are no placements for the students doing B.Sc physics Hons. After completing the graduation, one can opt for M.Sc, and clear NAT exam. From our university, 2 PhD students and 1 M.Sc physics student cleared the NAT exam, and 2 PhD students got the assistant professor job in HPU Shimla and Lovely Professional University.
Infrastructure: Our university is currently running on a temporary academic block(TAB) campus, which is owned by the degree college, Shahpur. In the TAB, we have the excellent rail wire Wi-Fi service covering the whole campus along with the LAN cables available in the labs. The classrooms are big and neat with the projector facility. We are provided with the good sports and game facilities with a well-conditioned playground. We lack in the medical facilities. The university canteen has limited and cheap food, while the hostels are good with the bus facility. I faced no issue in the infrastructure during my tenure in the university.
Faculty: We have got an excellent permanent teaching staff along with the temporary guest faculty. All the assistant professors, as well as the professors, are well-qualified with 2 DST inspire faculty Dr Padmanabh Rai and Dr Rajesh Kumar Sharma, who are especially in our university to design the labs. We have the annual sports meet every year. We are always exposed to the new scientist and their theory, with the help of their special lectures.

Complete faculty and great faculty, not bad placements in2015 and great environment.
Placements: 80% students were placed in my course. 10 students got internship from our course. Being honest, I don't know properly top recruiting companies for our course but yes many of companies recruiting for this course. Our passing out batches now set in top companies.
Infrastructure: Good quality of the facilities in hostel, free Wi-Fi facilities in department and great library and classroom, good canteen and medical facilities are also available. The good quality of food available in the mess an the canteen. Sports facilities are also available here.
Faculty: Teaching quality literally very excellent. Help to development of basic concepts about Physics and semester exam will not too easy or too hard 40% is the pass percentage. Yes it make the students industry ready. Teaching quality are very good and proud full.
Other: Basically Science is a great. And Physics help to make deal with nature.

For getting admission in B.Sc. Physics in CUHP you can apply online. Eligibility for B.Sc. Physics is that the candidate must obtain minimum of 50% in 10+2.
