The college is overall good.
Placements: 80-90% of students at DAVV get guaranteed placements, which is also based on their qualifications and potential. The highest package gone was around 40-60 LPA, and the average package is around 4-8 LPA. The top recruiting companies include Deloitte, Amazon, Cognizant, Accenture, etc. Around 70% of students get internships based on their skills and experience. Roles offered vary from financial analyst to economics, economic consultant, investment banker, etc.
Infrastructure: There are every facility available, like smart boards, good classrooms with ventilation, computer labs, a library to access all the related books, and department Wi-Fi access, etc. I didn't opt for the hostel, but the medical facilities in college are good. There is a wide range of sports available like cricket, marathon, triathlon, badminton, football, etc.
Faculty: The teachers and professors are highly qualified; some are Ph.D. holders and some are pursuing Ph.D. The teachers are helpful in every way, and they have a friendly and approachable nature. They deliver knowledge efficiently. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant to the subjects chosen; it gives us practical and theoretical knowledge and skills for development. The difficulty level is moderate but still not too easy. The passing percentage lies around 33-40%.
Other: I chose this course because of my keen interest in economic research and development. The best thing about my course is it has a vast and diversified range of subjects and topics that are applicable in real economics. I would only like fewer theories that are not practically applicable or proven to be hypothetical to not be included in the course curriculum. There are many events held at DAVV like TEDx DAVV, Holi Celebrations, Janmashtami, Navratri, DJ events, Sufi Nights, etc. The campus crowd is not so good and not so bad because of the basic difference in lifestyles. Scholarships are usually provided based on your +2 grade. There are many extracurricular activities like joining clubs, NGOs, or being part of any organizing committee, etc.

This college is perfectly suitable for government job seekers and economics enthusiasts.
Placements: Our college has a placement cell, wherein they provide campus recruitment facilities. The placements rate is up to 30%-50%. Many students got their dream jobs in their dream companies. The top recruiters here are Axis Bank, Tata, HDFC Bank and many more. The highest salary package offered is 3 LPA. The average salary offered is around Rs. 50,000-60,000 per month. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 25,000 per month. The college provides various opportunities for internships also. Most of the students have been selected by leading organisations that include a huge number of multi-national, stock exchange, export houses and banks.
Infrastructure: Our campus is very well planned and eco-friendly. The college has an auditorium, a placement cell, a spacious library, smart classrooms and a room for research staff members and scholars. Our college has a computer lab and a medical room also. The canteen offers good and hygienic food. Along with that, the college has a huge playground.
Faculty: The teachers here are highly experienced and have been teaching for the past 25-30 years. They devote all of their knowledge and skills to making students understand the subject. The teachers have been awarded many recognised awards like Ayush Ratna Award, etc. The course structure is designed in a good manner to make it easy and understandable to students. Due to Covid-19, the exams were conducted in an online mode, and hence the difficulty level was moderate. The pass percentage was 95%.
Other: I chose this course because economics is a perfect course for me. Along with that, the course is helpful in preparing for government jobs. The college offers scholarships of up to 100% for deserving students. Extracurricular activities are an advantage. Many seminars and webinars are conducted quite often to enlighten students.

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers.
