* Clinical Exposure: Students get ample opportunity for clinical postings in top-notch hospitals in Delhi.
* Relevant Curriculum: The course syllabus is tailored to prepare students for the industry, covering essential topics such as yoga, communication skills, and technology.
* High-Quality Library: The college has a vast collection of books and resources available to students.
* Scholarship Opportunities: Eligible students can apply for scholarships.

Cons:
* No Placement Cell: Unlike other programs, there is no dedicated placement cell for BPT graduates.
* Limited Job Prospects: As most students move on to pursue higher education or start their own practices, there are limited job opportunities directly after graduation.

Q:   What are the minimum marks required to get a seat at Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University?

A:

Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research (DIPSAR) offers B.Pharm, D.Pharm, M.Pharm, and Ph.D. programs. Applicants who hold a Bachelor's in Pharmacy with at least 55% aggregate marks are eligible to apply. Admission to both D.Pharm and B.Pharm will be based on the merit of the qualifying examination.

- For Non-Delhi general category, the cutoff for admission to DIPSAR was 95.67 percent for M.Pharma for the 2021-2022 academic year.

Q:   Is it worth pursuing D.Pharma at DPSRU?

A:
{Source: D.Pharma students & alumni}

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary of the key points:

* Placement Scenario: Unfortunately, most students reported that there are no or negligible on-campus placements for D.Pharma students. However, they encouraged students to explore off-campus opportunities, citing that the college's reputation and the image of DPSRU can lead to high chances of securing a job in a company or hospital.
* Teaching Quality: Most reviewers praised the teaching staff, saying they are well-qualified, knowledgeable, and supportive. Some mentioned that faculty members make students feel comfortable, while others noted that some may lack motivation or enthusiasm.
* Infrastructure: While the overall infrastructure seems decent, some reviewers pointed out issues with hostel conditions, particularly regarding mess food and infrastructure. Others appreciated the availability of modern facilities, such as air-conditioned classrooms and Wi-Fi connectivity.
* Course Curriculum: Some students felt that the current curriculum might not directly prepare students for industry demands, but internships (which are mandatory) helped bridge this gap.

Considering these points, whether pursuing D.Pharma at DPSRU is worth it ultimately depends on individual goals and priorities. For those interested in pharmaceutical industries and willing to explore off-campus opportunities, DPSRU might still offer valuable learning experiences. However, prospective students should carefully weigh the pros and cons before making an informed decision.

Everything is good in this college except for hostel and mess facilities.
Placements: I am in the second year of Bachelor in physiotherapy in which the college provides practice sessions in college OPD. After 3 years or in the end of third year, college provides internship program for the remaining 1 year in various hospitals like Safdarjung, AIIMS, etc.
Infrastructure: If we talk about college infrastructure, it is pretty good including various labs for practical knowledge. There are some labs which are under renovation currently for better establishment of new technologies. Hostel rooms are fine but food served is not good in taste as well as in hygiene.
Faculty: During the entire semester, teachers teach us according to them, but at the end, for better results, you have to read it thoroughly from the books by yourself. Semester exams are held after two sessional which occurs in the gap of one month gap between second sessional. Semester exams are of around 10 days.

Academics at it's best"because faculty members are highly qualified.
Placements: 99% approximately in B.Pharma. But 90% go for higher studies. There are no placements for BPT, and the highest package ranges from 7-10lakhs for undergrad and 10-12 Lacs for postgrad 99% got interned wherever they as the university has a wide range of connections professionally.
Infrastructure: Library! Good and calm! Departments for pharmacy are great! OPD is not that big for BPT students, but patient diversity is good. No Wi-Fi! Labs are available for every subject. A canteen is available, which is average. And No sports facilities and No games facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are way more highly qualified and skilled at teaching. The course of the subject is relevant without crazy text, which the student does not require in the future. About being industry ready. There are subjects like yoga, communication skills, coding, and tech preparing students for industries. Sem exams are tough.

It is a great university, but it could be perfect.
Placements: There's no placement cell for a bachelor of physiotherapy at the university. The university provides enough opportunities for clinical posting by directing us to top-notch hospitals in Delhi. We have received enough exposure.
Infrastructure: The lecture theatre is huge, spacious, and well-maintained. It's equipped with all the modern equipment, like motion sensor, air conditioner, whiteboard with projector, blackboard, and emporium. The seats and desk are comfortable and huge. The corridor and lecture theatre have local Wi-Fi, but it is unavailable on the campus. The library is huge and fully air-conditioned with a wide array of books. There's total discipline and decorum maintained at the same time. There are two separate hostels for males and females, with usually two people per room. There are approximately 5 to 7 washrooms on either end of the corridor. So there is no rush during the morning routine.
Faculty: Faculty members are great and highly educated, coming from top universities and clinical settings. The faculty excel in their domain and manage most situations. Every batch is formed into groups of 3 to 4 people, directed under a specific mentor. We have a dynamic spectrum of the subject, preparing us tactically to help deal with every clinical situation. A semester consists of 6 months with three examinations, that are sessional 1, sessional 2, and semester.

I am not satisfied but it's best for B. Pharma and you will get lots of placements.
Placements: There is no placement for BPT and no salary packages are offered. There are no recruiting companies for BPT. Internships are offered in various hospitals nearby. Basically, we do not have any placements for the BPT but the college may allot you some hospitals for clinical practice or for your internship.
Infrastructure: In our college, the classes are good. We have sensors everywhere, but projectors and Wi-Fi are not available. Food is below average for hostelers. The canteen is quite good. Medical facilities are average and sports ground is not available. There is a swimming pool but now it is closed and the same with the sports complex.
Faculty: Teaching is quite good however some teachers are just for salary and have no teaching skills at all. The level of the exam is medium and 50% is the pass percentage. The teachers are irregular on their attendance. However, there is strict rule of attendance for students. There should also be rules for teachers as well.
Other: I got BPT by my choice. However, you can opt for a scholarship if you are eligible. Events will not be there just small competitions will be there. Overall, it is good for B.Pharma.

I am satisfied with great infrastructure, facilities and ambiance.
Placements: There are no placements. Every student has to search for a job on their own. College will only help in 6 months internships.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. Lecture theater is equipped with projectors with air-conditioners. Sitting space is also spacious and clean. Hostel is available only for those students who stay away from Delhi. Hostel rooms don't have air-conditioners or coolers.
Faculty: Faculty members are temporary which is the biggest negative. The course curriculum is good for the medical setup and preparation of good practical knowledge. Semester exams are not that hard. The pass percentage is 45% in both theory and practical.
Other: It is a professional course and in India, it is gaining popularity and have many opportunities in the future. If faculty become permanent then it will be good. There are tons of events every month to gain experience and meet people in the same field.
