    It is the best college for clinical research.
    Placements: In our batch, all students from our branch were placed with a good salary package. The highest salary package offered was 6.75 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 5.75 LPA. The average salary package offered was 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are IQVIA, Value Edge, ZS Associates, BresMed, DRG Analytics, Novartis, etc. They hire students for the data analyst position. About 20% of the students also got an internship in these companies.
    Infrastructure: For clinical research branch, there are three labs with Wi-Fi connection. Classes are conducted in the seminar room has a round table, projector, air-conditioner, etc. The thesis of the already passed students is there in labs so that student can easily take help for their research. In the hostel, the mess was quite good. During my tenure, almost 2-3 messes were changed as per the tender. Food quality was good amongst all. Table tennis is available in the hostel. In a sports complex, there is a basketball court, volleyball court, and running track.
    Faculty: Head of the department of clinical research is professor SK Gupta who is distinguished professor retired from AIIMS Delhi. He has great experience and knowledge in the field of clinical research. His guidance truly helps students to succeed in this field. Apart from him, there are three guest faculty. They are also helpful and knowledgeable. Communication skills classes are also conducted, which help students to have a healthy interaction of the students in the industry. This course creates lots of opportunity for the students in the field as more companies now focusing on the clinical trial, R&D.
    Other: I have chosen this course as this course is itself a job oriented. It also opens the opportunity to work as a researcher. Even if you are GPAT qualified, you will get a stipend of Rs. 12,400 per month from AICTE during the entire course. This really removes the financial burden from the students. For the betterment of this course, students must need industry exposure from the starting, workshop and seminars will be necessary to conduct as this will improve their practical knowledge in the field. There are conferences conducted related to the students to excel in their knowledge.

    Q:   Is it worth pursuing D.Pharma at DPSRU?

    A:
    {Source: D.Pharma students & alumni}

    Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary of the key points:

    * Placement Scenario: Unfortunately, most students reported that there are no or negligible on-campus placements for D.Pharma students. However, they encouraged students to explore off-campus opportunities, citing that the college's reputation and the image of DPSRU can lead to high chances of securing a job in a company or hospital.
    * Teaching Quality: Most reviewers praised the teaching staff, saying they are well-qualified, knowledgeable, and supportive. Some mentioned that faculty members make students feel comfortable, while others noted that some may lack motivation or enthusiasm.
    * Infrastructure: While the overall infrastructure seems decent, some reviewers pointed out issues with hostel conditions, particularly regarding mess food and infrastructure. Others appreciated the availability of modern facilities, such as air-conditioned classrooms and Wi-Fi connectivity.
    * Course Curriculum: Some students felt that the current curriculum might not directly prepare students for industry demands, but internships (which are mandatory) helped bridge this gap.

    Considering these points, whether pursuing D.Pharma at DPSRU is worth it ultimately depends on individual goals and priorities. For those interested in pharmaceutical industries and willing to explore off-campus opportunities, DPSRU might still offer valuable learning experiences. However, prospective students should carefully weigh the pros and cons before making an informed decision.
