This college only provides a degree, not job opportunities.

Placements: As I mentioned, since I have completed my BSc, there aren’t many special internship or job opportunities available. Also, during admission, a merit list is created by combining half of the marks from 10th grade and the full marks from 12th grade. Every year, the merit varies based on the student. Generally, the lowest merit is for SC (Scheduled Caste) students, and the highest is for general category students.

Infrastructure: The classrooms in my college are not clean, and students have to clean the benches themselves with a cloth. The washrooms are also in bad condition. Moreover, there is only one canteen in the entire college, and it’s located in the women’s wing.

Faculty: Most of the teachers in the college leave if there are fewer students in the class. Sometimes, even if the class is held, the teachers stay for a little while and then step out. The semester exams are always delayed, and students have to prepare for the exams on their own.

Other: I chose this course so that I could stay close to home while preparing for competitive exams. The best thing is that after completing a BSc, I can apply for an MSc and then pursue a PhD to have a chance at becoming a college lecturer. As for improvement, cleanliness should be maintained in the college, which is currently lacking, and classes should be conducted regularly. Since it’s a government college, the fees are quite low, which is why there’s a large crowd on campus.
