The overview of Gangadhar Meher University, Sambalpur.

Placements: We had many placements in our final year. They were from Tata consultancy services, Kotak Mahindra, shopper's stop, IBM & a few more. 30% of the students were placed. The average salary package would be 1.9 lacs p. a. Roles offered were of BPS associate and likewise according to the qualification.

The college provides good infrastructure and placements.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. Last year, all the students of our senior batch got placed in good companies. The salary packages offered were also good. Almost 95% of the students got internships from the college, but the stipend offered was a little low as its a small town.

Satisfied with the college, but the only problem is less cleanliness and faculty's language.

Placements: Our senior batch got placements outside the city, and the cut-off percentage for placements was 60%. The salaries offered were Rs. 6,000-12,000 per month. The placements made were not too good and not up to the mark. Many students were deprived of placements. The salary offered was also not good according to qualification as the students also have to bear their living expenses in different cities.

Satisfied with the teaching, and the good placements provided for the students.

Placements: The placements for our batch are good, and many students got placed in many places like Bhubaneswar, Kolkata etc. The lowest percentage of placements obtained by the college is 60%. There is no placement cell in our college. Many companies visited our campus and offered jobs to the students.

Overall a good institute of you are less concerned about food and hostel.

Placements: As I am still in 1st year, I don't have much experience. But as per as the placements are concerned, only internship is provided among various companies. Many well known companies, banks and financial firms come to recruit interns for their esteemed firms.

Not at all satisfied with my university. It needs many changes and developments.

Placements: The college had no placements. There are very fewer chances in the placements. As there's no scope for placements and general knowledge, all you do is the school thing, i.e., going to school sit in classes like stones and come back and repeat the same. Some of the facilities are irresponsible that they don't even care whats going on in us. They are just machines which are hired to do a specific task every day. Not a single guy got placement.

Knowledge lives in the knowledge.

Placements: It's a university for the placements. Minimum 95 students get placements in our university the highest is 99%, and the lowest is 85%. There are many companies visited our university. They offered to the students many roles. The best thing is the stipend. Minimum 50% stipend offered to the students.

Reviews about our college.

Placements: The placement of the college was very good. A lot of companies gave us opportunities to join and paid a good amount of money. We were happy that the college is providing us with good facilities. There were some difficulties like there were a large number of students, but companies were little less in comparison. We hope the college will look after that problem.

The college has the good placement and the faculty members.

Placements: The placements on the campus are good because the recent faculty members are talented and the alumni were helpful so you can say that it's a good college. Moreover, there are some companies like Reliance Jio, Berger paint, Asian paints are visiting the campus for the placement. Overall, GM college is good for MBA.

About my campus which is in sambalpur odisha. The name of my campus is Gangadhar Meher University.

Placements: One of my senior from the college is a cashier in a bank at Cuttack. His salary is about 20K per month. And the other one is a sales manager in Calvin Klein Noida with the package of about 4 lacks per annum. One of my close senior is in Bangalore and got his job in some financial institutions, and about his salary, I don't know. It is really an awesome university in Odisha. And I am really proud to have this Gangadhar Meher University in my city.

not satisfied with placement.

Placements: GMU is one of the best university for students in sambalpur and it is also approved by UGC. The highest package offered is upto 2.3 LPA. Don't know about the recruiting companies but after the course banks like SBI hdfc and companies like aditya birla or vedanta give offers to students to work with them to earn and as well as learn.

The highest cutoff percentage required for admission into B.Com was 60%. Some students were able to secure CA placements in Bhubaneswar through MPEDCA. It is a good college with well-qualified professors but the infrastructure is not good.

Placements: You had to score 1st division i.e., 60% for placements. There were no top recruiting companies that visit our college to hire students. The average salary offered ranges from Rs 30,000 per month - Rs 50,000 per month. It was one of the oldest and most well-reputed colleges in Western Odisha. If you want to pursue jobs with decent salary packages then I would recommend students opt for other colleges.
