The admission will be only on the basis of the marks secured in the GIETEE-, conducted by GIET UNIVERSITY. The candidates who have secured valid JEE Main rank are also eligible for taking part in the counselling process as 50% of the total seats are reserved for JEE Main/OJEE candidates. Students who have not appeared for the GIETEE/JEE Main/OJEE are not qualified for admission. Short-listed candidate based on their entrance examination rank and will be called for the counselling.

Gandhi Institute of Engineering and Technology Overall Review.
Placements: Our college provides 90% placement in previous years. The highest package is 33 LPA and the lowest package is 8 LPA, with the average package approximately 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Wipro, Accenture, Tech Mahindra, etc. visit our college. 3rd-year students of the course can apply for internships in different companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is beautiful and the facilities are good. All lab classrooms are AC. Non-AC classrooms are present as well. In the library, both AC and Wi-Fi are available for internet connection. Both boys’ and girls’ hostels are available, but the girls’ hostel is located outside the college. Hostel food is decent, and sports and medical facilities are very good.
Faculty: Our teachers are highly educated and qualified from different IITs, NITs, and also our own college. Their teaching style is good and the course curriculum is relevant, making students industry-ready. The semester exams are strict, and the pass percentage is 90%.

Placements: Our college provide decent placement in previous years. The highest around 33 LPA and the lowest package around 7 to 8 LPA. Top most recruiting companies like Wipro, Accenture, Tech Mahindra, banks, Birla, etc. Around 90% students placed in different companies 3rd year of course for internship.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of GIET University is so beautiful and they now so improving our college infrastructure. Every lab class are AC available but in classroom not present AC. In library AC are present. Both boys and girls hostel are available, girls hostel are present in outside of college. Canteen food so beautiful some time food hygienic, medical, sport facilities are decent. There big field available for sports and tournament.
Faculty: Faculty, curriculum and exam for our course is full different. They can strictly conduct exam and full observed to student. All teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Our CSE course curriculum relevant to make industry ready. Semester exam is so easy if we read within a time and around 90% of the student pass the semester exam.
Other: I chose CSE course because it makes to placed in different companies. It easy so it is best thing and it help me to make professional growth. In campus all event conducted according to the time.

Placements: This college provides excellent placement with 100% assured placement. Previous years, the highest package was 31 LPA and the lowest package was approximately 7 LPA. Top most companies like Wipro, TCS, Agriculture Company, Accenture, Tech Mahindra, etc. visited for campus placement.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is so beautiful and excellent; hostels provide all bad rooms, all classes are AC rooms, and in the library also AC present. Hostel facilities are good and mess provide decent food; medical facilities are good according to college; sport facilities are both indoor and outdoor games available .
Faculty: Faculty, curriculum and exam for our course help me with an improved professional career. Teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable and there teaching style is so good and they solve all doubts of students. The semester exam is fully strict and passing is very easy if we read according to the syllabus. 90% of students are easy to pass the semester exam.

Decent facilities, limited support, and room for improvement in practical learning.
Placements: Over 80% of students in the 1st year belong to the CSE branch. So far, the highest package offered in our college has been 26.5 lakhs. TATA is one of the top recruiting companies. Around 30% to 35% of students do paid internships, mostly arranged through YHILLS by seniors, as seniors receive a commission for placing juniors. The top role offered is Data Science.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi is decent, and lab classes are average with outdated equipment. Classrooms have basic school-like bench seating and lack quality. The library is good. The new NC14 hostel for the first-year students is the only well-maintained building; other hostels have issues like broken washroom doors, and the food quality is poor, sometimes with insects found in meals. Sports activities are managed fairly well.
Faculty: The teachers aren’t very helpful in the 1st year; mostly fresher teachers lead, while skilled teachers are assigned. The curriculum is mostly theoretical, with limited practical preparation, leaving few students industry-ready. The semester exams aren’t very difficult but not too easy either. Around 50% or more students pass.
Other: I chose B.Tech in CSE for my interest in technology and career opportunities. The best parts are learning programming, problem-solving, and great job prospects. I wish the B.Tech CSE courses had more practical hands-on training, updated lab equipment, and experienced faculty. There’s no fresher party here; if held, it’s class-wise in the classroom during the 2nd year.

If you have given JEE-Mains, on the basis of rank card you will be given admission, rank doesn't matter. Or you can appear for Odisha Joint Entrance Exam and submit the rank card to a college.
