Placements: I am from mechanical engineering department in Giet university, i know about the placement is that many students got placement from this university. 90 percentage of students get placement. The highest package of this department is 10 LPA and the average package is 3 LPA. Top recruting companies are automobile industry.

Infrastructure: In our department there are digital classrooms, industrial engineering labs, 24 hour wifi. The quality of the mess are good and manageable. All medical service are provided by our university. Many times the university organize the sports and games.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful to us. They are more experienced and qualified so their teaching quality is good and understandable. In our department the course is curriculum relevant to the industry. So it makes students industry ready. Industrial engineering labs are helping students for industry ready.

Other: I like mechanical engineering subjects.

Review of the department of mechanical engineering in GIET university.

Placements: In this university, 95% of students get placement in many MNCs. The maximum package for placement is 10 LPA and the average package is 3 to 4 LPA. The big recruiting companies are like the automobile companies. Approximately all students from this college get internships.

Infrastructure: In our college, the mechanical engineering department is the most reputed compared to other courses. The infrastructure is big. There are 3 to 4 big workshop labs and a large auditorium in this mechanical building. All classrooms are very good and most rooms are smart. The university provides a big mess with good food. The hostel rooms are very good.

Faculty: Yes, all the teachers from our branch are well educated and qualified. They are more helpful to all students. Their teaching quality is good and understandable. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. All the semester exams are not so difficult; the normal questions come in the exams.

Other: For good placement with good salary, I chose this course. No, I do not want any type of improvement in our course.

Giet University is the best engineering college.

Placements: This college provides 60 to 80 percent placement. The highest package is almost 30 LPA, and the lowest is around 3–5 LPA, but averages 10 LPA. Top companies like TCS, Wipro, etc. visited for placement. In the 3rd year, students can get internships, but not in the 1st year. They can also take any internship course.

Infrastructure: The facilities and the infrastructure of the college are best and good because this college's look is good, and the environment is the best, all day clean. All courses are good, and there are available AC lab classes and non-AC classrooms. The mess canteen is also good for providing decent food; all are available.

Faculty: Teachers are always helpful to students and clear all doubts, and they teach in a smart classroom if they require a smart teaching style. We are highly qualified and have completed their doctoral degree. In the case of the semester exam, it is fully strict and observed by all teachers every time. The pass percentage is almost 90%.

Other: It is the best college in Odisha. All-time-arranged events and extracurricular activities.

The infrastructure is very good and beautiful. I love this place.

Infrastructure: The university library is stocked with a vast collection of books, journals, and digital resources relevant to different disciplines. It provides a quiet environment for study and research. Modern classrooms equipped with audio-visual aids like projectors and smart boards facilitate interactive learning. They are designed to accommodate lectures, discussions, and presentations.

Faculty: Semester examinations are not difficult to give, but you have to study hard for getting placement in the drive. This course makes the students industry-ready and helps in scoring a good CGPA. Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable.

Other: I am interested in doing mechanical engineering, so I chose this as my career option. I can learn from internships and extracurricular activities. Events are good and enjoyable.

Our university has infrastructure and course facility with other co-curricular activities.

Placements: Our university provides very good placements after your studies. I have seen it among our seniors. They have been placed in very good companies after their career at GIET University, Gunupur. I hope for us it will be better after our study is over. I will pray to God for good campus placement in GIET.

Infrastructure: Our university offers very good hostel facilities with proper caretakers and a hostel warden. Cleanliness is maintained in all our hostels. Disciplinary activity is tolerated on campus. Daily checkup is taken inside our hostel if there is primary health regard issue and much more.

Faculty: Exams are conducted very strictly in our university in order to get the desired outcomes. Faculty members of the university are also more friendly to us. There are 5 stages of exams that are conducted by GIET namely, VST, cycle test 1, then VST, cycle test 2, and the end-semester exam.

Other: There is a very good budget for our course compared to other universities. The campus of GIET has a very good atmosphere.
