Best from the past but needs remodelling.
Infrastructure: G. B. P. U. A & T have one the biggest library of India. It have wide and great campus with enough practical exposure with respect to labs and field work. Hostel rooms and facilities are good in some and bad in some same goes with the food. There is stadium facility for the ones who are into sports with equipments, kits and field for many sports like Basketball, Badminton, Cricket, Athletics. Students also go for inter university competition all around india.
Faculty: Faculty is limited in many departments. And it needs admissions of young professors too. Teachers are qualified but knowledgeable to a certain extent. Due to the same old course outlines students often suffer from lack of interest.
Other: There are many university societies helping students with the curriculum. It's the ability of the gbpuatians to handle everything with grace.

Excellent faculty and course curricula.
Placements: There were no alluring placements as such. Only one student got a job in the whole batch. Maximum salary was 3 LPA. Seniors didn't get good job offers either. So in terms of placements, we weren't satisfied. I hope that in the years to come, they get better and the students get better job prospects.
Infrastructure: Moderately furnished infrastructure. Smart classes were few. Some classrooms were in a really bad condition. Water leaked during rains. Classes were dark and gloomy. There could be a better computer laboratory. New technologies and apparatus must be introduced.
Faculty: The course curriculum was fantastic. The faculty was supportive and nurturing. Glad we met such teachers. They helped us at every step. JRF aspirants were given free coaching and counselling. Faculty members were dedicated towards the students. They taught the concepts properly and guided us well enough.

Good, studious environment and dedicated faculty.
Placements: For undergraduate programmes, students search for an internship on their own. As I am from the home science extension department, students from this department went in Amar Ujala, Dainik Jagran, Hindustan, AIR, Almora, ETV, ZEE News, Uttaranchal Deep, Doordarshan and other printing and journalism firms. Students from other departments go for food factories, textile firms, interior designing of prominent restaurants and hotels and NGOs like Goong, special need NGOs, MAD, etc. There are no campus placements for the undergraduate students.
Infrastructure: The entire college and the hostels are fully Wi-Fi enabled. Well-equipped labs are available for all the departments. The university provides proper medical facilities, as we have a university hospital facility available for all the beneficiaries of Pantnagar University. A well-facilitated stadium is also available for university students. The college, university and the hostel wardens promote Sports and Games. For the best sportspersons, a scholarship is also provided from the university.
Faculty: The faculty team is very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching methods used are lectures, powerpoint presentations, role plays, assignments, demonstrations and field visits. The student to faculty ratio is 2:1. We did get the industry exposures like a cotton mill visit, Parle industry visit, rural area visits for PRA and RRAs, a video unit visit and radio station visits.

A platform to explore yourself and acquire new skills.
Placements: Generally, students go for Masters. But still, many prominent organisation visited the campus. And the annual package offered was between 3-3.5 LPA. During the seventh semester of the course, 100% students go for a 2-month internship. Out of which, more than 50% internships are offered by the college itself.
Infrastructure: The college has its own updated library, well-established classrooms and various labs in each department of the college. Some labs are properly furnished and others are under renovation this year. There are different hostels for different colleges and providing safety to students is their main concern along with good quality of food and water. No, I didn't face any infrastructure related issue during my course.
Faculty: Faculty of the college is well qualified and knowledgeable as well. They are always ready to help students in best possible ways. Classroom teaching is done along with power point presentations. 1:40 is the ratio of teacher to students. I got industry exposure for two months and the village attachment program was also conducted for two months in the seventh semester. The course curriculum was very useful and gave me an environment for learning new skills.
Other: Various cultural programs are also conducted in the college itself. These programs give students a learning platform and help in experiencing new skills along with academics. Along with cultural programs, various sports activities, fun activities and an annual ramp show are also organised by the students of the college itself.
