Excellent faculty, good placements, and great infrastructure.
Placements: I am pursuing B.Tech 1st year CSE core. Around 80% to 85% of seniors in this course have been placed. Packages range from 8 LPA to 50 LPA. An average student can get up to 10–15 LPA in on-campus placement drives, and big companies like Google and Microsoft come to our college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite well-developed, and it is a peaceful place. Dehradun is quite peaceful, and there are many places to visit nearby. The campus includes hostels, a canteen, a mess, a tuck shop, and a stationery shop. Medical facilities are available all the time.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-educated from renowned colleges and institutions. They are well-qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable in their fields. The course and curriculum are relevant to modern-day needs and make us industry-ready. The semester exams are not that tough if you attend class regularly.
Other: The best thing about my course is that it makes students industry-ready for jobs and the real world. The university organizes Grafest twice a year and invites famous personalities to perform.

Experience of B.Tech undergrad at Graphic Era (Deemed to be) University (2025).
Placements: The placement season has just begun for our batch. We got a few companies like Accenture, TCS, Infosys, HSBC, Hitachi, Tech Mahindra, etc. But they offer lower packages. The salary package offered is around 3 LPA - 10 LPA. I heard that this is the first phase of the placement drive and we can expect higher packages in the next phase. But I don't know if that's true or not. Only two companies visited the college and provided a salary package of 11 LPA and 15 LPA. Their hiring percentage is quite low. Hardly 2-3 students in a crowd of thousands get placed. Roles are good. They are quite related and efficient based on our course. Our college does not help students to get internships. It does not invite any companies or help in any other way. However, now I am in my final year, and recently, we encountered two small startups visiting the college this year to recruit third-year students for internships. So, if this continues, it would be good.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is very poor. Labs and classrooms are average. We can't say that it is difficult to sit in labs or classrooms as they are fine. I am not a hosteler, but many friends stay there. The quality of facilities and the food available are average. Nobody had any bad experiences. The mess and canteens are good. Some students enjoy the food. It is very hygienic and tasty. I haven't seen any crucial medical needs around the college, but it is good as there is a medical clinic and an ambulance for the worst cases present on the campus at all times. If girls are looking for help during their days, it is unfortunate not there. They have to visit some other medical shops outside of the campus. I face the issue.
Faculty: A few teachers are quite good, but others aren't. They are qualified and knowledgeable, but there's a way of behaving with students. It matters, and some of them are ruining that image. The course curriculum is decent I would say, never really paid attention to that except for a few of the important subjects that are crucial for interviews. Our main goal is to just pass those exams. I would suggest everyone just get hold of these important subjects because in the end (during interviews), students' knowledge of these few subjects matters. A student with a 6.5 or 7 CGPA is eligible for the same placements, companies, and packages as a student with having 9 or 9.5 CGPA. It's just a game of skills and not marks. I would recommend maintaining an average of 8.5 CGPA. It would bring everything for students, and they don't have to worry about scoring low marks. Students should not run after marks or percentages. They have to work on their skills. Semester exams are at a medium level. Students start studying a day or two days before exams and pass them all. I don't exactly know the pass percentage. There's a system of having backlogs, which means students who fail. But students get another chance to reappear for those papers in the next semesters, and they can clear them. However, students should try not to get backlogs because an active backlog at the time of placement can hinder an opportunity.
Other: I chose this course because it provides great salary packages. B.Tech offers quite good packages. I can't say as of now how is it going, but my expectations are definitely higher. I would say the course is good but choosing a better college would be a good option. However, the fest named Graphest is exceptionally great. Students enjoy it thoroughly. It is simply awesome. I think sports or extracurricular activities are something that should be more worked on.

Placements are not satisfying. Faculties are great. Infrastructure is not that good.
Placements: Placements are not very good because of the recession, as said nowadays by every college but better than other colleges that are nearby. We can not say it is the best college for placements but it is better than many government colleges, which nowadays have failed to give placements to their students.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not very good, to be honest, because college is not huge; it has a very small campus. The hostels are not entirely inside the campus; some are outside the campus and only 2 hostels, one boy and one girl, are inside the campus. The playground is not even big.
Faculty: Faculties are great and some are even on the list of the top 30 faculties in India. Even in the projects we make during the 3rd semester, they put all their efforts so that they can help us to build something innovative. Our exams are conducted two times per semester: one is midterm and the second is end semester.
Other: Decent college to give placements but not very good because it is a private college. You will not get a very competitive environment but if you want to do something out of the box, the college will help you with funds and will be flexible towards the attendance criteria.

Review of Graphic Era Deemed to be University student.
Placements: Placements in our university are quite impressive. We have a placement cell that looks after placements of students. This year, placement percentage till now is 87% and increasing. The highest salary package offered is 50 LPA. The average salary package offered is 10 LPA - 11 LPA and the lowest Salary package offered is 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Goldman Sachs, TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, and many more.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very amazing. Classrooms are modern, including smartboards and projectors, with well-equipped labs, seminar halls, auditoriums, and big conference rooms. Entire campus has Wi-Fi facilities too. Hostel facilities have different sharing beds, and all basic facilities and amenities. Safety and security of students are taken as a priority. Quality of mess food is decent.
Faculty: Faculty members are a major reason to take admission here. All faculty members are PhD qualified. Most of them are good mentors and guides for students. All faculty members are approachable. Student and teacher ratio is 30:1. Curriculum of my course B. Tech is very comprehensive. It is based on the latest technology used in the real world. It is designed or structured in a way that it easy for students to gain knowledge, and it focuses more on practical learning. There are exams twice a semester, as mid and end exams.
Other: After 12th, I wanted to pursue B. Tech in Computer Science. After that, I started searching for colleges and came across Graphic Era. I checked out its course curriculum, placement records, and was impressed. Later, I looked at infrastructure and faculty members. I also checked the fest structure and found it fit for me. The best thing I found about my course is that it focuses more on practical learning rather than theory.

Stay away from GEU specially for technical courses.
Placements: I think not more than 30–40% of the students got placed from the college on campus as the recruiters this year were very few, and the hype they make is like too much, from influencers to local marketing. They do everything, including the highest package, which is official given the college's 56 LPA but they must be the off-campus ones that were made to be shown that are on campus so this is not a good thing for such a professional college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the main campus is like okay but for such heavy feelings, it is not justified. The library is not that big for thousands of students and is not air-conditioned. The Wi-Fi facilities are also not good because the maximum limit is about 2 GB, which is way too little, and the hostel's food is so poor that you cannot even chew the chapatis.
Faculty: Teachers are good they are all well educated and cooperative too. The curriculum is also good as it is majorly fixed by the UGC for all the colleges and the exam pattern is also very easy We would say it is specially designed so that most of the students may get through it so yeah, that is a better thing.
Other: Crowd here is a way to introvert; they all like their own personal space here; no interaction is all they want because in our batch there are most of the droppers who failed the JEE examination so they are a bit too sad and depressed so yes, the crowd is not that happening considering only my batch of other year students are more happening.
