Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

Good college for engineering with low rank in JEE Main.
Placements: About 60–70% of the students are placed in our previous batch, I.e., 2023 ( information technology). The highest package in our course was about 20LPA LPA, the lowest was about 3 LPA, and the average package will be around 7LPA. The top recruiting companies are Gemini, TCS, American express, etc. About 30–35% are doing the internships from our course in some private companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is absolutely good and the library of the university is so huge that it has everything related to our stream. The quality of food in the hostel is average, the canteens are good, the medical facilities are excellent, and for sports and games, there will be a sports complex with all equipment.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful in teaching real-time concepts with a clear point of view. This information technology is relevant for the software field. The difficult level of our university exam is 85% tough, and it maintains toughness in every aspect of test.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in the information technology field. The events in the university will be every year in the month of January, named Techfest. This is only for all departments of the B.Tech stream.

Review of Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya.
Placements: Almost all students got placed in our college. Our college students give GATE exam for government jobs and higher education. The highest salary package offered is 23 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Capgemini, Wipro, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college provides us with all facilities. Our college is Wi-Fi enabled. Labs are well-maintained. They have all the equipment. Our college has 2 libraries. Our department has a library. The other library is for other courses. A central library is available in our college.
Faculty: All teachers are Ph.D. holders. They are helpful and knowledgeable. They teach us very well. The end-semester exams are a bit difficult. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: Many fests are held in our college. Our college has good surroundings.

In 2015, not many students got placed, but in 2018, more companies came and started hiring students.
Placements: In my college, around 40% of students get placement. Here, the highest package goes up to INR 35 lacs per annum, the lowest package goes to INR 2.8 lacs, and the average package is around INR 5-6 lacs. Companies coming to hire students are Amazon Express, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, etc.
Infrastructure: The hostel for first-year students is very good, and it is newly built. But hostels for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th years are not in such good condition. The Wi-Fi speed is very good in the hostel. Classrooms are good, and the library is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Relevant books are there in the library.
Faculty: Teachers are good, and some teachers are helpful. The experiences of teachers are also so good. But some teachers only threaten the students. Some teachers are very strict, and they always threaten the student with a SL or TC. Semester exam is based on PYQ.
Other: I chose an information technology course because, in today's time, the demand for IT and CS students is higher. After choosing this course, you will be more focused on coding and will learn more skills and practice.

College is good. Better than private and state government colleges (generally) and affordable.
Placements: Placement is not good, but college placement of CS and IT branch is good. But below average. 30 to 40 percent of students get placed in CS and IT branches. And no good college placements for other branches such like mechanical, chemical, civil. Students of these branch often seems for preparing for GATE exam. Top recruiters are Amazon, Google India, Airtel, and some new startup companies. The highest placement last year was around 16 Lacs, and the highest offered ever was around 42 Lacs, it was told by seniors and teachers .
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, and new buildings are also being developed. Smart classrooms. Wi-Fi facility of MHRD Wi-Fi is available, classrooms are average but what I really like most is the small classrooms for total strength of 75 students in my batch. No overcrowding unlike NITs and IITs. Hostel: if you really need hostel, there is 50-50 chances of getting hostel. Mostly for boys. Most of us are live outside of the college campus due to lack of seats in the hostel.
Faculty: I have mixed feelings about teachers. Some are very good teachers and some have very poor teaching style. The course curriculum makes us industry ready. Labs, server rooms and library are really well maintained. Internships are also provided to the students. Company tours and many extra things are actively participated by students, such like NSS, NCC, etc.

Faculty is well educated and so much supportive. All the necessary facilities are available.
Placements: Actually, placement is below average you will not get a very high package from the campus but still students have got some great packages. 80% of students were placed till now. Highest placement got by a student is 33 LPA and average placement of university is 4-5 LPA. Top recruitment companies are Wipro, American Express, Gemini solution and many more. 75% got internship from this course and some of them from are Microsoft and Google.
Infrastructure: All the necessary facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, Classroom, library are available here. Infrastructures here are quite well and maintained. There is a central library for all the departments. There are 4 hostels. 2 for girls and 2 for boys. Food quality of mess and canteen is good. There is no sports facility. Class of for first years are not that good and required so much maintenance.
Faculty: Faculty is well educated and so much supportive. But management is average it feels like Management makes a lot of impulsive decisions and changes them. Most of them are from NITs and IITs. Teacher makes great effort to give quality education. The course curriculum is relevant and prepare students for industrial work. Semester is not much difficult, but the checking system is worse. 70% students able to pass.
Other: Things need to be improved are First year classrooms, There are no sports facility for whole B.Tech department Croud campus of this college are so good. No fest happened here.
