Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University conducts IPU CET 2020 counselling. Candidates who are aspiring admission in Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University can participate in the IPU CET counselling 2020 subject to they have a valid JEE Main BE/BTech scorecard. The admission to the BTech courses except for BTech Bio-Technology, BTech Lateral Entry is made through IPU CET counselling. The complete IPU CET counselling procedure takes place in online mode. Candidates who do not possess score card of JEE Main are not eligible for participating in the IPU CET online counselling.
Schedule of round 2 for seat allotment for candidates who have qualified National Level Test has been revised. Result for round 2 (BTech) will be declared on November 25 after 5 PM and for BTech (LE) it will be published on November 27.

IPU CET 2020 Counselling Dates (BTech)
The University has announced IPU CET counselling 2020 dates. We have updated the dates of the different events in the table below.
IPU CET 2020 Dates for National Level Test Qualified Candidates
Candidates who have qualified National Level Test and have filled the choices can follow the schedule after result declaration of round 1 and subsequent round 2 of online counselling.

IPU CET Counselling 2020 Procedure
The University conducts the entire counselling online. It is good also because candidates from the different parts of the country can participate easily. IPU CET counselling procedure comprises of the counselling fee payment, registration, choice filling, fee payment, seat allotment, document verification, etc. Check the step by step process of IPU CET counselling below.
1. IPU CET Counselling Fee Payment
- Candidates who will be eligible should login their account by using the login credentials such as application number and date of birth.
- Then find the link to make payment of the counselling fee and click on it.
- There will be two options to make payment of the counselling fee, online and offline.
- If any candidate wishes to pay the fee online then use Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking.
- If anyone wants to go for offline mode, then take the printout of the challan and visit the nearest branch of the mentioned bank to deposit the fee.
2. IPU CET Counselling Registration
- Candidates will be able to exercise the registration process only after making the fee payment.
- While exercising the IPU CET 2020 counselling registration, candidates have to mention roll number of JEE Main 2020, name, date of birth, and result status.
- In the second step of registration, enter personal details, academic details, and contact details.
- Candidates whose registration will be successful will receive IPU CET login ID and password.
3. IPU CET Choice Filling
After completing the registration process, candidates are required to fill the choices of courses and institutions according to their preference. Fill the preferences as many as you can to increase the chances of getting the desired seat. Candidates will get to know about the allotted seat after the declaration of the seat allotment result.
IPU CET Seat Allotment
The seat allotment result will help the candidates in knowing about the allotted seats. After declaration of the seat allotment, result candidates have to freeze the seat in case if they do not want to participate in the further counselling rounds. If any candidate wants to back out then they can go for the withdrawal and fee refund. There will be sliding option wherein candidates can apply for subsequent rounds of counselling.
IPU CET Document Verification
After confirmation of the seats, candidates have to go for the document verification process. The following documents are important at the time of IPU CET document verification.
- JEE Main result
- JEE Main admit card
- Mark sheet & certificates of Class 10 and Class 12
- Caste category certificate (if applicable)
- Admission receipt
- IPU CET counselling registration receipt
- Provisional allotment letter
- Conduct certificate attested by the Head of the last studies Institute.

Yes, IPU CET is a mandatory exam for admission to BBA at JIMS Rohini. Candidates need to qualify for the exam with a valid score. JIMS, Rohini (UG Courses) accepts IPU CET score for admission to its BBA, BA and BCA programmes. However, after filling the seats through CET scores, the vacant seats are filled through CUET scores for BA and BCA programmes. Moreover, admissions are also provided through Management Quota.
